I do hope Bernie's Senate office is already whipping co-sponsor votes for the one big beautiful 2027 M4A bill that includes dental, mental and long term care.

One of the most insane results I've ever seen. The GOP had the majority going in.
After a preliminary count, it looks as though the makeup of the 170th session of the NH House of Representatives will be 291 D, 108 R, 1 I. Stressing this is preliminary, and before any recounts, of which it looks like there could be several; some within ten votes or so.

… his votes will be added to those of the “real” Sullivan. So, DOJ, you can go home now and continue hiding Trump‘s role in the Epstein files and going after Trump’s opponents. 2/2

NEW: Progressive members of Congress and their new recruits are already sending a loud message to Democratic leaders: it’s not time to moderate. It’s time to actually do something theintercept.com/2026/11/04/…

The big lesson of the Biden years is that you have to prosecute these people. You can’t just move on. You need to make the next generation of grifters and hate mongers scared for their lives.

First things Dems in the House should do: vote to restore the subsidies for ACA accounts and get rid of the cuts to Medicaid & SNAP. On Day One.

One thing people aren’t talking much about- last night went so well that it’s possible the next president may be elected based on the popular vote via National Popular Vote Interstate Compact

Ahead of the election, a Connecticut FBI field office posted that the election was on Wednesday. As an old-school Southern Voting Rights lawyer, I've seen that tactic used many times to suppress the vote. The post was still up Tuesday morning. It's since been deleted. If it was an unintentional error, it would have been down in minutes. Serious investigation needed here. @jamie_raskin
Election Day is, like always, Tuesday.

Trump asked the people to vote as if he were on the ballot. THEY DID. Thank you Americans from coast to coast.

No. Just no. Before last night, folks like Josh believed a candidate like El-Sayed couldn’t win in a state like Michigan. Now proven wrong, they’re moving the goalposts.
Given the historic Dem wave, powered by mostly center-left candidates, worth noting that… El-Sayed only on track to prevail in Michigan by about 5. DSA-endorsed Nixon losing the one reddish Senate race where other states with similar Trump-Harris numbers flipped to Dems. DSA member Lawrence looks like he’ll lose Michigan swing seat held by Slotkin.

Last night saw some of the greatest progressive victories in modern American history. All across the country, in rural and urban areas, Americans said NO to oligarchy, and YES to an agenda that fights for the working class. Congratulations to the following candidates: U.S. SENATE Abdul El-Sayed (MI) Peggy Flanagan (MN) Troy Jackson (ME) U.S. HOUSE Bob Brooks (PA-7) Rebecca Cooke (WI-3) Sam Forstag (MT-1) Adam Hamawy (NJ-12) Melat Kiros (CO-1) Brad Lander (NY-10) Will Lawrence (MI-7) Donavan McKinney (MI-13) Brian Poindexter (OH-7) Analilia Mejía (NJ-11) Claire Valdez (NY-07) Randy Villegas (CA-22) Aisha Wahab (CA-14)

It's the morning after a historic rout, and the Texas GOP is planning to discuss how to use the time they have to take powers away from an incoming Democrat. Expect more of this.
Texas Senate Republicans plan to meet this afternoon to discuss reorganizing the chamber, sources tell @quorumreport. Election of a majority leader and stripping the Democratic Lt Gov of legislative power on the table. Developing...

After tonight Democrats are gonna need a New Deal. We have a generational opportunity that the current party leadership will squander. The folks that nearly flipped Florida, the voters, have spoken loudly and clearly like the rest of the country. Time for new leadership.
