Exclusive new video content… 15 years after the “Penn State Scandal” broke, I’m releasing part of my recent interview with PSU football legend & College Football Hall of Famer, Shane Conlan, where he declares that he has always believed that Jerry Sandusky is clearly innocent & that the entire narrative surrounding the story makes absolutely no sense. When I publicly announced a month ago that Conlan had done this interview, all hell broke loose in his world. His family, specifically his youngest son Dan (a recent Penn State walk-on basketball player), strongly urged him to kill the interview over fear of the negative reaction to it. In an effort to protect both Shane and the public record, I have decided to only publicly release a small portion of that interview. Directly below is a key clip from the Conlan interview. Below that is a YouTube video of me telling the remarkable behind-the-scenes story of how I tried to navigate all this controversy, speaking extensively with 3 other players from the storied PSU 1986 National Championship team who also believe that Jerry Sandusky is innocent (Trey Bauer, DJ Dozier, and Bob White). This entire saga is extremely emblematic of the entire Sandusky fiasco, and how/why a fake scandal was allowed to destroy so many innocent lives, and ruin the reputation of a previously respected university. It is also yet another strong sign that being the only person willing/able to tell the full truth of this matter will eventually be the death of me.

FOUR KIDS AT HOME AND THEY'RE FILMING HIM FOR CLOUT?? Harmless content, or picked the wrong guy? A Red Baron rep is stocking a grocery store freezer when a couple of young people with a camera start messing with him. He snaps, then tells them he has to be up at 5 in the morning, he's still out working late, he's got four kids at home and he can't pay his mortgage. If that were my son holding that phone, the video would come down and he'd be finding that man to apologize to his face. Yes, he lost his cool. Calling somebody a punk on camera never helps your case. Now look at what he's carrying. Early mornings, more stores to hit, four kids and a mortgage. And somebody decided his bad day would make good content. There's a guy like him in every grocery store in America, grinding through the shift nobody sees. Turning one of them into the punchline isn't edgy. It's lazy. Leave the working man alone. He's got enough on his plate.

Remember how exciting it was when your parents randomly decided everyone was going out to eat? It didn't have to be anywhere fancy. Just sitting in a booth with your family, ordering your favorite food, and enjoying a night out. Those little evenings were the best.

The very first baskteball game I ever played was Double Dribble (NES) from 1987. What looks rather clunky today was extremely playable at the time, especially in two-player mode. Dunking on your little brother, followed by trash talk and eventual rage quitting. All essential parts of 80s gaming experience. 🏀 Cinematic slam-dunk cutscenes 🏀 Digitized speech 🏀 5-on-5 full-court basketball Top notch for 1987!

Jim Nantz says Mike Ditka used to pay and tip for everything with $100 bills, and never ask for change “I noticed early on that all he carried were $100 bills. All he did was peel off hundreds all the time. Buy a beer at the bar on the way out to dinner, ‘Yeah, give me a Budweiser.’ $100. Keep the change.” “Coat check, comes into a restaurant, comes out, $100. Man on the street, homeless, there was one guy that kind of understood the routine and he was there every week. Mike, every time, $100 bill.” “I finally got up the nerve to say, ‘Hey coach, why don’t you ever get change? Why just the hundreds?’ He says, ‘Hey, what’s the difference anyway?’” “He said, ‘You know, the way I look at it, when I die and they drop me down into the ground, I hope there’s a little opening in that coffin and my last $100 bill comes flying out and goes up into the sky and drifts away. That would make me happy.’” “So I said, ‘This gets a little pricey, doesn’t it?’ ‘It’s not that bad, Jim.’ He said, ‘Here’s the way I rationalize it in my head. We got 20 weeks. I come every single Friday to New York. I come in with 50 $100 bills, $5,000. And at the end of the season, I’m spending $100,000.’” “He would say, ‘I’ve allocated $100,000 to the football season to go enjoy myself in New York. And that’s the way it is.’ I take $5,000 in cash in hundreds every single week. And that’s what he did.”
