Did you know Llanrumney Hall is a Litter Picking Hub? 💚 As part of Keep Wales Tidy - Cadwch Gymru'n Daclus, we have litter pickers, hoops, hi-vis jackets and bags available to borrow for free. Just pop into the Hall to collect what you need! Whether you’re taking an autumn walk, getting the family outdoors or bringing a group together, it’s a simple way to show our community some love and help keep Llanrumney looking its best 🍂

To make our Halloween House of Horrors accessible to all, we will be hosting a neurodivergent session again this year at 4:15pm on both Thursday 29th and Friday 30th October. This is for those who may not be able to process the Haunted House tour the same as others and need additional factors such as the lights on, quieter music, less scares, and a slower pace. The session will take the same route as the main tour but will not provide the exact same experience. If you would like to book this session or would like more information, call reception on 029 2000 1441. Bookings for this tour cannot be made via our Eventbrite. We’re proud to announce that Llanrumney Hall Community Trust has received the Community Heritage Renovation Excellence Award 2026, from SME News as part of the Welsh Enterprise Awards. To receive this recognition in the awards’ 10th anniversary year is a tremendous honour, particularly in a category that reflects the very purpose of our charity - protecting an important piece of local heritage and securing its future for the community. Once in a severe state of disrepair, our Grade II* listed Hall faced the prospect of its history and heritage being lost. Its restoration brought the building back to life, reopening its doors in 2019 as a community hub with opportunities, support and spaces for local people. Our Founder and Trustee, Steve Borley, grew up in Llanrumney, and his determination to give back to his community, alongside his support through @CMBEngineering, helped turn an ambitious vision into a lasting legacy. This award is a meaningful recognition of years of commitment and the collective effort behind that transformation. Today, the Hall’s heritage lives on through the people who use it, the activities it hosts and the community it serves. A proud moment for our team, volunteers, partners and supporters, and everyone who has helped give Llanrumney Hall its next chapter!

A huge thank you to @willisconst1986 for their incredible generosity following their recent 40th anniversary celebrations. Over £4,000 was raised for Llanrumney Hall Community Trust, with Chairman Gareth Williams generously matching the amount, bringing the total to over £8,000! The fundraising forms part of the WILLIS40x40 initiative, supporting 40 charitable activities over 40 weeks to celebrate 40 years in business. This generous contribution will make a considerable difference to the work we do within our community. Throughout September, members of the Llanrumney Hall team laced up their trainers and took on a challenge close to our hearts: walking 30 miles each to raise funds for Dementia UK. By the end of the month, our team had clocked up 500+ miles between them, raising £418 in support of the charity and its work with families affected by dementia. Dementia UK provides specialist dementia nurses who offer life-changing support to families, helping them navigate some of the most difficult and challenging moments that dementia can bring. We’re incredibly proud of our staff who took part and kept those miles ticking over throughout September, whether that meant heading out for dedicated walks or adding a few extra miles into their day. Most of all, we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported the challenge and donated. A room with plenty of history and character 🏛️ Named after Captain Henry Morgan, the famous privateer and Governor of Jamaica who was born at Llanrumney Hall, the Morgan Room is our second-largest room and one of the Hall’s beautifully restored spaces. Elegant and welcoming, it’s ideal for meetings, training sessions and educational seminars, and is regularly hired by local schools, businesses and community groups. Room hire from £35 per hour.
