Maybe my favorite player from this Irish squad may have just been Logan Duncomb.
The Winthrop transfer operated at the 5 spot for the Irish and was the connector for all of their 5-Out actions. The skilled big man was impressive in this role and really helped keep the Irish half-court offense afloat with his ability to pass, screen, and change sides of the floor.

Logan joins the Irish from Winthrop, where he was named 2026 Big South Conference Player of the Year and First Team All-Conference after helping the Eagles to a 23-11 record, finishing third in the league in scoring (18.3 ppg) and second in rebounding (8.9 rpg) while shooting an efficient 60.0 percent from the floor. He posted 14 double-doubles and 14 games of 20-plus points, including a program road-record 38 points and 15 rebounds at Presbyterian, and broke Winthrop's single-season records for free throws made (194) and attempted (264). He began his career at Indiana, appearing in nine games as a freshman and nine more as a sophomore before a season-ending sinus surgery, then did not play a season at Xavier before totaling modest numbers in his first year at Winthrop. At Archbishop Moeller High School in Cincinnati, he was a top-100 national recruit who helped lead the Crusaders to the 2019 Ohio state championship as part of a program that won back-to-back state titles, earning All-Ohio First Team and McDonald's All-American nominee honors as a senior.
