Il sorpasso è avvenuto prima di quanto molti demografi avessero previsto, mentre il calo della natalità accelera l'invecchiamento della popolazione: nel 2023 oltre il 71% della popolazione mondiale viveva in Paesi con una fertilità pari o inferiore al livello di sostituzione di circa 2,1 figli per donna, contro il 45% di dieci anni prima. Gli over-65 saranno circa 2 miliardi nel 2060, rappresentando il 19,6% della popolazione mondiale e oltre la metà della crescita demografica prevista. Do neural nets learn features in a predictable order?
Our results suggest the answer is “yes”— networks learn statistics of increasing complexity.
