The Tenth Commandment’s prohibition against coveting a neighbor’s goods demonstrates that this attitude of socialism has been the dark side of humanity from ancient times. Hundreds of millions have died over this economic battle. The Russian Civil War and aftermath, 1917–1922 killed up to 12 million defending against Marxism. Mao killed some 77 million who opposed this Marxist idea. Stalin killed about 17–20 million attributable to his repression. Even the communist coup attempt in Indonesian estimated deaths were up to 1 million. This list goes on and on. This is why it is the Tenth Commandment for all it does is lead to social wars over greed.
