The perfect ending for Justin Verlander.
His daughter runs out to the mound and he walks off with his family.
Feels like a movie.

This is one of the many perverse ironies of the Macklemore situation.
If Ed Sheeran's opening act had waved an Israeli flag and proclaimed his love of Israel -- and then a cartel of rich venue owners banned him from appearing -- we would have a two-month orgy of people screaming ANTI-SEMITISM, with Mike Johnson holding emergency House hearings featuring Jonathan Greenblatt and Dana Bash and Jake Tapper crying with Van Jones on CNN about how dangerous America has become for Jews.
Replying to @ggreenwald
Imagine if venue owners got together to ban a Jewish person from performing at their venues??? WE WOULD HAVE WW3

This Elon livestream smoking clip is going to age so well 🤣 Most people don’t know — "friends" hit him up just 10 minutes later.”
Elon Musk: So, is that a joint, or is it a cigar?
Joe Rogan: It’s marijuana inside of tobacco.
Elon Musk: Yeah, I think I tried one once. I mean, it’s legal, right?
[Ten minutes later]
Joe Rogan: You getting text messages from chicks?
Elon Musk: No. I’m getting text messages from friends saying, “What the hell are you doing smoking weed?”
Joe Rogan: Is that bad for you?
Elon Musk: It’s legal.
Joe Rogan: It’s government approved.
Elon Musk: It’s not, you know… I’m not a regular smoker of weed.
Joe Rogan: How often do you smoke it?
Elon Musk: Almost never.

Happy 75th Dad!
Today I'm remembering your weirdness and your extraordinary capacity to love.
And for the folks out there who'd like to celebrate with me, go do something kind for someone. Make someone laugh. Put a little more good into the world.
Love you forever.

Pretty sure this isn't worse that Qatar using slaves to build a stadium.
This is probably the biggest scandal in World Cup history.
USA striker Folarin Balogun committed this outrageous foul against Bosnia and was shown a straight red card… but here’s where it gets crazy.
The White House publicly contacted FIFA and the tournament organizers, asking them to lift his suspension. And they actually did. Balogun is now eligible to play against Belgium.
The organizers cited something called a “probation period,” meaning the red card still stands, but instead of serving the mandatory suspension, he’ll only be punished if he commits a similar offense again.
A blatant manipulation of the rules for everyone to see, especially considering red-card suspensions are not supposed to be appealable.

Belgium is ridiculous to be upset about Balogun being allowed to play. Why should Belgium benefit from something that happened to Bosnia-Herzegovina?
Go make me a waffle.
