Claude Code’s source code got leaked and was open-sourced without permission, but the same thing happened with GunZ The Duel back in the day — the community took over, maintained it, and turned it into “Open GunZ.” 20 years later, and it’s still the same story.

I ported the legendary 2003 Windows-exclusive online TPS GunZ: The Duel to run entirely in the browser! ✨The best part? I barely touched the original source code. ~99% of the new code was written by AI (mostly Claude). Check my article: medium.com/p/51a954ce882e
