Finished @KellyHrudey book. Loved every bit of it. So many great stories and insights. Love learning about the behind the scenes because we only know what the media likes to spin.
That is how Leafs fans feel. I played goal in elementary school ball hockey. Briefly coached an all-men ball hockey team. Occasionally put on the ball hockey goalie gear now and play with two of my kids (20 yr old son and 15 yr old daughter). Nothing fancy, yet I understand.
Certain disappointments linger and can repeat over and over again in the mind. I’m no official player and it bugs me. I can imagine how much it would bug @KellyHrudey
Finally…..the chapter I’ve been waiting for. (I’m still a bit bitter all these years later.) Can’t wait to get @KellyHrudey perspective.
Smooth @KellyHrudey
Would love to hear Donna’s side to this story and if she sensed you were going to ask.
Good quote. Unfortunately, as fans we do expect the best performance every night forgetting that the other team has the same responsibility to have a stellar performance as well. As a Leafs fan my whole life, this is a good quote to remember and meditate on. @KellyHrudey
The more I see of him, the more he is so likable
Brad Marchand was downing a Cookie Dough DQ Blizzard during intermission 😭
Dude really said Blizzards > Hurricanes

Just started reading @KellyHrudey book “Calling The Shots.” Love seeing this paragraph about @cmalarchuk Makes me so happy when people support other people and acknowledge their struggles but more importantly their successes.
Just finished reading this. Everyone remembers him from that near death skate to the neck. But his true legacy should be how he survived his life and making a difference with this book. Life - and hockey - truly is The Crazy Game @cmalarchuk
All this negativity regarding the Leafs is getting too much. Grow up people. If you don’t like the team THAT much stop supporting them. But don’t wish ill on anyone else involved with the organization. That’s just plain cruel and dumb! #LeafsNation do better or get out 🙁
If you look closely, it wasn’t his elbow that made the most contact. It was his hand along the jawline when he initially made the contact. (At least in my opinion and from what I’m seeing). Anyone who has been sucker punched will tell you that will definitely knock you out.
Does Sam Bennett deserve a hearing with @NHLPlayerSafety for his collision with Stolarz? nitter.gq/BR_OpenIce/status/1919…
Why?!? Every effin year!!! They had such a great opportunity to bury the Senators and they blew it!!!! Ottawa is going to reverse sweep now. Mark my words!!!
