He said a few people in the press tried to paint this ship as a story about dysfunction, low morale, and a failed mission.
Then he looked out at those sailors and said it's the exact opposite.
These warriors spent 321 days at sea and set records no carrier strike group had ever reached, and the fake news still tried to tear them down.
Reporters who have never served a day in their lives don't get to tell us these men and women failed.
Our sailors came home as heroes, and the only failure here is the media that bet against them 🇺🇸
