Long term rivals players are waiting for a good patch, NOT new content.
After 10 full seasons, many of the same pain points, community wide, are still unaddressed.
Triple support, poke heroes, dive interactions, or the latest issue, the teamups system, being severely imbalanced. Players want the variety of content to be enabled by the environment of the game.
Instead, hard metas have simply persisted. They're too harsh for it to feel satisfying trying to outplay opponents. It's always been best to outpick them.
Frankly, while new content has its merits, people want a reason to keep playing it.
Flex players aren’t relying on the game’s design, they’re mastering it. Adapting to comps, counters takes broader game sense and decision making than locking one hero. One tricking shows deep mastery, but refusing to flex when it hurts the team is the real skill ceiling.
Over the past couple Days ive seen people Talk about "OTPs" and Trackers a lot
And whoever says "OTPs are bad at the game" is ironicly fundamentaly bad at the game
Without OTPS we wouldnt have Fantastic Players hitting Rank 1, we wouldnt have Spidey OTPs hittin Rank 1, we wouldnt have Magik/BP/Ironfist Players in OAA
Onetricking is the epithomy of Skill expression, since you learn to play into your counters and in the end win against the odds
Players that flex a lot are not good players, they rely on the games design to win their games and not on their own skills as players.
If a game were truly competitive, EVERY SINGLE HERO IN THE GAME would have to be ONETRICKED, to be able to be played at the highest Level
That, is the truth you are trying to avoid and scared to admit.

With the 2026 Marvel Rivals Ignite season ending, we would like to thank everyone who supported us during this season. It feels surreal to see how big of a fanbase and community we have built. Unfortunately due to players current financial situations we do require financial aid to continue playing as a team for the upcoming season. With that being said we are still looking for an org.
If you want to support us please like, comment, and retweet so we can reach as many orgs as possible.
For any questions or inquiries dm "xeytex" on discord.
