Sometimes, the most valuable part of building isn’t just the code you write. It’s the people you learn from, the feedback you receive, and the experience you gain along the way.
My journey through Road to Colosseum by @superteamvn was a reminder of that.
From applying and getting approved to attending sessions and getting hands-on with the building process, here’s how it all played out.
A little look back at the journey🔻

Road to Colosseum - Side Track Hackathon Demo Day is a wrap.
On Oct 4, 16 shortlisted teams brought their Solana builds to the stage in HCMC, with $10,000 up for grabs.
Here’s a look back at the pitches, the people & the #PROOFofBUILD. 🧵👇

Someone in Kenya sends money home and loses a chunk of it to fees before it even lands.
That is the reality for so many Africans around the world, simply because nobody showed them a cheaper way to move value.
Safrochain is an African Layer 1 that exists to put fast, low cost transfers in everyone’s hands, starting with the people who need it most.

Day 1✔️ Day 2 ✔️
This was an amazing event! The goal was to spread the gospel of @safrochain to the world, one community at a time.
A big thank you to @SamuelXeus and the entire @blockfestafrica team for accommodating us.
It was inspiring to see how communities looking to build a solid foundation for blockchain adoption in Africa are leveraging @blocblockchain as a platform.
I also met the @getgrowapp team there, further proving that the Nigerian market is one worth exploring.
It was an amazing experience, and I’m glad @safrochain could be a part of it.

what if institutions could prove they’re trustworthy without exposing their entire playbook?
privacy and transparency shouldn’t have to compete.
that’s where @primus_labs comes in
proving what’s true without revealing everything could be a major step toward bringing more institutions onchain
institutional investors are already actively working with crypto
but a lot of them run into the same real problem
they need some data to stay private:
> position sizes
> strategies
> volumes
at the same time, they still have to prove everything is fair - reserves are there, conditions are met, the data is real
full transparency doesn't always work here, and neither does having no way to verify anything
@primus_labs is about that balance. It lets you prove the data is authentic and the conditions are met without revealing the data itself
that gives more flexibility when BIG players operate on blockchain
i recommend checking out how this kind of verification looks in practice 🫶🏻 (my link in 1 comment)
one market thesis can say a lot when you bring the right people together
i’m already part of a crew on @PoiseFinance and curious to see how this round plays out
would you rather build your own index or join a crew?

New creator campaign live on @0xhazels with @meetmotes.
0.5% of the $MOTES supply allocated to the top 500 Hazels creators over two months.
100% unlock. No vesting.
Hazels NFT staker multipliers active.
Motes builds encrypted financial infrastructure where NFT-owned AI agents run DeFi strategies and trade on @Polymarket, with owner-defined limits enforced on-chain.
The structure stands out.
A longer window and full unlock give creators time to examine the idea beyond the initial announcement. The scoring model is worth watching: does it distinguish clear, useful explanations from content that simply generates volume?
The interesting part isn’t just more people talking about $MOTES.
It’s who can explain the agent model, examine the risk controls, and break down the potential clearly enough to add something useful.
Creator intelligence over reach alone.

How much easier would crypto be if you could tell an assistant what you wanted to do and have it help handle the process, without switching between apps or trying to figure out which button to press?
Just think of the possibility of being able to swap tokens, move your funds, or place an order just by typing what you want, instead of spending time figuring out how everything works
That’s what ChimpX is doing with Mojo AI, a personal AI for your money.
This thread will walk you through what Mojo AI does, the traction ChimpX has gained so far, how the $CHIMP tokenomics and HOOTs rewards work, and what you need to know about the public sale before participating.

What if you could prove you're telling the truth without revealing everything you know?
That sounds like a philosophical question.
But in institutional finance, it's a serious problem.
Imagine a company that needs to prove it meets certain financial requirements before accessing a service.
The company wants to prove its eligibility.
The other party needs reliable evidence.
But does that mean the company should have to expose every sensitive detail behind its financial position?
I don't think so.
Verification and exposure are not the same thing.
That's the distinction that makes confidential computing and cryptographic proofs so interesting.
Technologies such as zero-knowledge proofs can help verify specific claims without revealing all the underlying information. Other approaches, such as fully homomorphic encryption, can enable computation on encrypted data.
They solve different problems, but they point toward a future where protecting information doesn't have to mean abandoning verification.
This is why I'm exploring what @primus_labs is building.
The real opportunity isn't simply hiding information.
It's finding better ways to prove what matters while protecting what doesn't need to be exposed.
And that leads to the next question:
What if institutions could bring their financial activity on-chain without putting their entire business under a public microscope?
That's the challenge worth paying attention to.

🇳🇬 STORYTELLER ✍🏾
What if the biggest obstacle stopping institutions from using blockchain isn't the technology itself, but the fact that everyone can see too much?
Think about a financial institution moving millions on-chain.
The transaction may be transparent, but what about the institution's strategy, its positions, or the sensitive details behind that movement?
Not every piece of financial information should be public just because the infrastructure is public.
Yet institutions still need something equally important: the ability to verify activity and trust the system they're using.
That's the dilemma.
And I think solving it is one of the most important challenges for institutional on-chain finance.
This is why I'm paying attention to @primus_labs .
Their focus on confidentiality and verification raises a question worth exploring:
Can we preserve the trust and verifiability of blockchain without exposing every sensitive financial detail?
Because if we can, institutions may have a very different reason to take on-chain finance seriously.
But here's what I want to understand next:
How do you prove something is legitimate without revealing the information you want to protect?
That's where this story gets interesting.

It was another reminder that when blockchain infrastructure fails, the consequences can reach far beyond one transaction.
Meanwhile, navigating different chains remains complicated for everyday users.
This is why projects rethinking cross chain interactions matter.

The biggest advantage in a token launch may be having a position before everyone else arrives. @zerufinance
Bitquery examined 8.2 million Pump.fun launches and found that 21% involved developer-linked wallets buying in the launch block. Those wallets held a median of 10% of the token supply. Developers and bundled wallets reportedly earned $579M after fees from tokens they sold.
These numbers point to a distribution problem. When some participants enter with a substantial allocation from the beginning, ordinary buyers are competing in a market where the starting conditions aren’t equal.
@zerufinance is preparing Activity Markets on Zaps with a different approach to token distribution. Instead of centring access on who can execute a transaction first, the concept connects market access to previous community participation.
The proposed model has coins spawning from community activity, no dev bag, and buying rights for people who traded or participated in a clan before a market appeared.
If you’ve already been active onchain, connect your existing trading wallets to Zaps and review the starting points associated with your eligible history.
Activity Markets haven’t launched yet, and the final access rules will determine how the system works. Zaps are points for a planned airdrop, not $ZERU or a promise of market access.
If participation mattered more than being the fastest wallet, would that change how you approach new launches?

There’s a blind spot among young professionals today. Many don't really understand what exactly is stopping them from getting the outcomes they want.
I saw it more and more when I facilitated a 45-minute masterclass at BLOCKFEST Africa. I talked about attention and impact in building productive communities. Then we put it to work. Because what is a masterclass without real-life problem-solving?
We first diagnosed a marketer with massive engagement on her pages but no clients nor gigs. We found out that she wasn't communicating enough evidence of what she does, why it matters, and why she should be trusted with the work.
The second was a founder who couldn't explain his product in one sentence because it was trying to do too many things at once. Fix one problem first, scale it, then begin to add the rest.
A community manager struggling to grow beyond referrals. We diagnosed that the referral incentives weren't tied to the actual activities they wanted members doing.
The questions from the audience kept coming, pointing to how many builders are struggling with distribution, PMF, and more.
The marketer is now going through private mentorship with me. After the session, students building their own projects came to me for guidance on navigating life after school. Community builders and founders exchanged contacts with me.
Someone even gave me $100 towards my ride. 😭❤️
It was very interesting to see faces behind pfps again.
Special thanks to @thesarahidahosa, the engine behind BLOCKFEST Africa 2026. Thank you for the invite, Queen
Thank you, @blockfestafrica ❤️
