Growing up, we had a small pond behind our house that had geese, so I’ve irrationally thought more about a goose fight than most folks, but never been attacked.

I cannot even begin to tell you how improbable all this felt an hour and a half ago.

If you have a Gator fan in your life, I’d like to wish you a happy “How was the weekend?” Day. Funny enough, it falls on the same day as “What time is it?” Day, though that is only celebrated at 6:32 am/pm.

If the kicking team has to wait 10 yards before touching the ball or blocking a player, the receiving team shouldn’t be able to touch the ball prior to 10 yards as well.

I’m not sure that run to the line and snap was Bobo’s call. I could be wrong, but that feels more like a snap decision by the QB who thought he wanted to catch Florida off guard. Bobo just didn’t call them off of it. I think the same happened on Nate’s run, FTR.

Two QB runs in a row is less of the “in his bag” and more of a “don’t get cute” mindset.

Nate knew they were gassed. When he finished that previous run, he immediately asked for the ball again. Dawgs had the ball for damn near the entire 1st Q. Love that TOP. Keep it up. P.S. - Roughing the punter actually saved the Gators’ offense from starting at the 6” line.

🇺🇸 Tucker Carlson CONFRONTS Kevin O’Leary Over Taxpayer Subsidies for Billion-Dollar Data Centers: “Why Am I, as a Taxpayer, Forced to Pay for Your Business?” Tucker Carlson: “Your tenants are some of the richest companies in the world. Why should taxpayers be required to subsidize this? If it’s such a good business, why are you asking taxpayers to help pay for it without giving them equity in the company?” Kevin O’Leary: “I have to go raise $15 billion. That’s what it takes to build the first 1.5 gigawatts. Every state is competing for that investment. You’re going to create jobs, pay taxes, and build communities. What can you give me to incentivize me versus the state right beside you?” Tucker: “I run a couple of businesses, and we’re not getting any tax breaks. I think they’re every bit as virtuous as data centers. I’m not availing myself of that, and I wouldn’t take it anyway. It’s not the job of taxpayers to subsidize a private business.” O’Leary: “Welcome to America, buddy. This is how it’s gone on for 200 years.”

This might be one of my favorite clips that I’ve ever seen on a news broadcast. The segment is about the DNC’s embracing of socialism and it goes horribly wrong.
Moynihan: Democratic policies that are more socialist— Mockler: Wait, which president is seizing stakes in companies? Donald Trump.

Just want to give a shoutout to my deep’ish purple (due to votes not of a mixture of red/blue, though that is fair to say as well) county of Houston, right there in the center of the state. Folks here from both parties have been early voting their asses off. It’s great to see.
On the Anthropic "breach" of Georgia voter data, they did not access voter files. Claude accessed the public data on who has voted, outstanding absentee ballots, etc. I know because Claude built a tracker of the data. There was nothing illegal. It's a great use of AI. And Claude did a better visual representation than what is on the Secretary of State website.

I am still of the mindset that Baylor shouldn’t even have football or men’s basketball after the administration’s actions over the last few scandals.
BREAKING: Baylor has fired head football coach Dave Aranda, @PeteNakos reports. on3.com/news/dave-aranda-fir…

A very close friend of mine was Hairy Dawg. He said that there was some event during his tenure where all of the SEC mascots were together in one place. Word is, everyone was pretty cool, except for one mascot who was a total pain in the ass. You get one guess…

Y’all, somehow “Aubie Twitter” has discovered this tweet, and these cats (or eagles or plainsmen, who tf knows) are big mad. I’ve said it before and it’s never been more true: Auburn is the Georgia Tech of the SEC. Sad as hell, but also hilarious.

Y’all know I can’t stand Donald Trump, but I’m not so blindly tribal to say that this isn’t a huge f’n deal, because it is. This is GREAT for middle GA and especially Fort Valley, who could use the infusion of commerce and more importantly, tax dollars.
PERRY — President Donald Trump on Saturday announced German automaker Audi will spend $4.2 billion to build its first U.S. manufacturing facility near Macon, touting the massive project at a campaign rally aimed at boosting Georgia Republicans ajc.com/news/2026/10/audi-to…

That false start on the center was actually the most eagle-eyed call I’ve seen a ref make in a while. It’s SUPER subtle, but the center’s right foot jerks *slightly* right after the linebackers run up to the line. I can’t tell if it’s a great call or a really ticky-tack one.

Wait until this guy finds out who’s been controlling Congress for the last two years.
I’m at Trump’s rally in Perry, where one of the first speakers is GOP congressional nominee John Cowan, a neurosurgeon who is calling for an overhaul of the healthcare system if Republicans keep the House. “You deserve a Congress that can fix big problems.” #gapol
