I had the pleasure of completing Part 1 EMDR training last week with Sandi Richman and colleagues.It was ace & I enjoyed a cheeky trip to this exhibit during one of our breaks.EMDR is total wizardry.Different to my usual approach and fascinating from a neuro perspective
We practiced some of the skills & I chose my horrific fear of moths.Last night that a moth was in my bedroom and I simply noticed it and got into bed.Previously, I’d have hidden in the bathroom until help arrived 🤯😳 Looking forward to attending Part 2 in August

Now the dust has settled and I’ve finally just about got my head around it, I’m pleased to share that I have now completed the Clinical Neuropsych MSc via Glasgow, and can now qualify as a Neuropsychologist. The viva went rather well, and was a pleasure to participate in…..

Being a psychologist is really hard. But varied days like today are great: training MDT colleagues, meeting with a new patient, cognitive assessment and collaborative joint work with colleagues. Feeling revived and refreshed despite QiCN viva prep 🤯
