I've had a "professional" helping today. Even bending eyed in sets over some awkward roofing 🤭. This will be an 8 x 415W trina all black array, laid 10⁰ pointing dead south. Shaded by lots of trees. We have an @M2Division AC isolator which if you have not tried are absolute class. A little @Solis_Inverters inverter which will send the AC back to the house. Thankfully I have a generous export limit so this should work a treat! Valk rail, hanger bolts and hammer head rail fixings. Interesting experiment as it's at my house! The software says production even with the angle and shading should be decent. Using Tigo optomisers and keeping the panels as tight to the roof as possible. I don't want to take the building over the max height allowed for permitted development etc. This will supplant the 9 x 415W trinas on the house south roof and 3 x 415 on the west roof. Even with peak generation I should be within the export limit but have the solax set to clip if its exceeded. Also if the solax goes to island mode the solis inverter will disconnect rather than the 2 systems feeding each other. I need to experiment more on that with them both running off grid (if they will). All good fun and the professional in question is Mattie! I was just going to CT 1 them to the roof and chuck the inverter down the side of the shed.
