THE MYSTERIO LEXICON | WORD OF THE DAY
ULTRACREPIDARIAN.
Have you ever noticed that the less some people know about a subject, the more confidently they speak about it?
There is a word for that.
An ultracrepidarian is someone who gives opinions on matters beyond their knowledge or expertise.
Interestingly, the word is linked to an ancient story about a painter and a shoemaker who criticised his painting. After the painter corrected the sandal, the shoemaker began criticising other parts of the artwork.
The lesson was simple: knowing something about one part of a subject does not make you an authority on the whole thing.
And that is where many of us get it wrong.
We mistake confidence for competence, loudness for wisdom, and having an opinion for having understanding.
The Mysterio Reflection:
A wise person does not need to have an opinion on everything. Sometimes, the most intelligent words you can say are, “I don't know enough about this to judge.”
Now, my mutuals, be honest: Have you ever been so confident about something, only to discover later that you were wrong?

THE MYSTERIO LEXICON 🧩 | WORD OF THE DAY #2
One word. One deeper meaning. One new way to see the world.
WORD #2: LACUNA
Pronunciation: luh-KOO-nuh
Part of speech: Noun
Meaning: An empty space, a missing part, or a gap in something that should be complete.
But lacuna is more than a word for an empty space.
Think about a person whose story you think you know. You know what they did, what they said, and perhaps what others have told you about them.
But what if the most important part of their story is the part you never heard?
That missing piece is a lacuna.
We often judge people using incomplete information, then mistake our incomplete understanding for the whole truth.
Sometimes, wisdom begins with admitting that something is missing from what we know.
Example: “There was a lacuna in his account of the events, leaving everyone wondering what had really happened.”
THE MYSTERIO REFLECTION
Not every gap needs to be filled with an assumption. Some gaps should remind us to ask more questions.
Tell me, my mutuals: Have you ever judged a situation too quickly, only to discover later that an important piece of the story was missing?

Nothing concern them concern ballon d’Or
Micheal Carrick, Bruno Fernandez and 5 losses in a row are their only concern 😂😂😂

And Chelsea fans do not even care about the ballon d’Or or their players getting nominated
As long as they can call themselves, the world champion for the next four years, even if they keep failing in the league, they are OK😂😂😂

“Angel Di maria carried Argentina not Messi”
Argentina started struggling in the qualifiers until Messi was begged to come out of retirement, even scoring the hattrick that gave them the 2018 world qualification 😂😂
So Di maria couldn’t carry Argentina when Messi wasn’t there, it was when Messi came that he decided to carry them🤡🤡

This was exactly what happened to Kylian Mbappe yesterday at the Ballon D'or ceremony.
Came with all his entaurage to the event, pre organised a party to cerebrate with his teammates, family and friends when he wins the award only for Harry Kane to be announced as the winner.
I swear for years this pain will not leave that badluck boy, Kylian Mbappe.

Why is it that whenever award is given to Messi, Ronaldo's fans will cry rigging but when it favors them it's by merit???
Why are you guys like this na?

This dude and his fans are the biggest scam and propagandist on the earth.
If it's another who wins it, they shout rigging! But when it's them they shout merit!
I have never seen more naggers than this man and his data boys supporters.
My joy is that no matter the amount of tears they pour, Messi will and always will be the GOAT over him.
Simple and short!!!
