The classification of products must be addressed in the upcoming Gambling Review. This is a digital age and these are the harms we are dealing with. The Act has to acknowledge and use precautionary principle when causation not yet available.
The National Lottery made over £1bn from addictive online games during lockdown.
This is yet another reason why it's critical that operators test for harm in their gambling products and a classification system is introduced.
