🚌 Construction is underway on Atlanta’s first Arterial Rapid Transit (ART)! MARTA and the City of Atlanta, through the More MARTA program, began construction on the Cleveland-Metropolitan ART project on October 26, 2026. The project will bring faster, more reliable bus service with enhanced shelters, improved customer amenities, fewer stops, and Transit Signal Priority to help reduce travel times. 📍 The service will connect East Point Station to Jonesboro Road along Cleveland Avenue and West End Station to Cleveland Avenue along Metropolitan Parkway. 🚧 During construction, riders and residents may experience temporary bus stop relocations, intermittent sidewalk closures, and short-term traffic impacts.
