Another busy weekend out on the trail in the First District! We started early Saturday with a canvass launch in Greendale, then headed over to the Kenosha HarborMarket with Rep. Ben DeSmidt and chatted with folks and vendors there. We had another canvass launch in Kenosha and then swung by Apple Holler with my family, where we had some delicious apple cider donuts and slushies!

Grateful to the firefighters of Kenosha, Janesville, Oak Creek, and Racine for their support! They are on the frontlines of serving our communities, and in Congress, I'll work with our firefighters and all first responders to protect public safety.

Great rally in Janesville with Senator Warnock, David Crowley, and other folks up and down the ballot. Everyone in the room today was excited. People are ready for a government that represents and works for our best interests. This year more than ever we need people to get out and vote. This morning I was out at Beloit College with Rep Pocan! It was great to see such enthusiastic young voters coming out to share their priorities with us, for this election. On campus, we heard that students are concerned about the state of our democracy and being able to afford basic necessities. It’s time that we send a representative to Washington who is going to listen to constituents' concerns and actually do the work to improve our communities.
