Thank you Governor Lee @GovBillLee for granting pardons indicating that rehabilitation and forgiveness do work together as a powerful incentive for others to change their lives and hope.
It is my hope and prayers that you and your family always be blessed and enjoy the holidays
The 7 year anniversary of the First Step Act being signed is coming up Sunday. I am grateful for President Trump signing the most significant fed legislative reform in history that day, and for the friendships and friends I've made and my desire to help so many others receive too
Christmas is one week away.
I was blessed to be released almost 6 years ago because President Donald J. Trump signed the First Step Act, after the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals told me to go back yet said these words in that same ruling ordering my return to prison #Peoplechange.
Went to the Nashville VA and saw a few friends, @POTUS @SecVetAffairs, picture on the wall 👏
Grace and actions work hand in hand. It is my hope our esteemed Tennesee Governor and my friend, @GovBillLee, will grant clemencies and pardons this Thanksgiving continuing up to and beyond Christmas safely reuniting families with their loved ones who've changed their lives.
Nothing speaks louder than grace and actions, and you and your administration do it well. President Donald Trump please add to your good record of granting clemencies and pardons this upcoming Thanksgiving while showing the holiday spirit and safely reuniting families. Thank you
#BeingSmartOnCrime is being able to swiftly arrest someone who commit a crime(s), sentence them individually and accordingly, and keeping incarcerated only those who actually need to be behind bars, while rehabilitating and safely releasing those that don't.

FAMM and OVU Safer Prisons, Safer Communities campaign partnership addressing the national staffing crisis in Texas thanks to AV, FAMM, and OVU for amplifying this crisis which directly negatively affect those incarcerated and prison staff. @FAMMFoundation, OVU, @Arnold_Ventures
It's 100° and feel hotter. We have air conditioning. Imagine being in a Florida or Texas prison where there's no air conditioning and the walls are sweltering and it feels like 130° 24/7. Some say, so they're criminals, while the humane say they're still human beings.
The State of Tennessee can pass an Independent Prison Oversight Act Bill this 2025 upcoming session to ensure all its prisons function correctly and are adequately staffed to prevent prisoner and staff abuses @tnhousegop @tnsenategop @WilliamLamberth @SenBoWatson @SenJohnStevens
Greatful that the federal prison oversight act was signed by the President. Independent prison oversight saves lives, money, civil suits, addresses understaffing levels, prevent physical abuses, gang activity, corrupt staff, etc.. A win-win.
Hopefully every state takes notice.
In Boyz II MEN city, Philadelphia, for our FAMM/ily staff retreat, and keeping in the Wynette FAMM tradition, some even did planks on a break. Thanks and salute to @FAMMFoundation, Moses Cook, and this guy/man @KevinARing,lol, our friend for life who passed on the reins.
Tennessee's many legislative bills regarding crime and punishment would have us believe that they're not playing. But when it comes to being fiscal responsible with taxpayer money and looking for ways that truly reduce crime, clearance rates and smart laws, they're playing us
This popped up in my four years ago feed on Facebook. It's amazing how they remind you of memories that seem like they hadn't been that long ago. Today's the last day of February and as they say, "black history is and can be made every day of the year" Let's make history together

Always proud of the work Governor Lee does on behalf of Tennesseans. It was nice seeing and telling him that last night at the TN 113th General Assembly Legislative reception. He's a man of faith, a great Governor, respected by his fellow Governors, a good person and friend.
The most Biblical, but often forgotten, act of the Bible is to show forgiveness, mercy, and lov and it is a blessing to give or receive such. Thank you @POTUS and @billlee @GovBillLee for granting commutations and pardons, may many more come from you and our Governors nationwide.
