Effective starting 8/31/2026, enhancedpv will resume indefinite suspension from MDVA Smash Ultimate events for 2 counts of hate speech and 1 count of harassment (found in new reports). Appeal may be submitted in one year, at earliest 8/31/2027.

The Committee is continuing to assess, as we've been told to expect additional evidence we may not have previously had. We will also put out a communication in greater detail. If you have had a direct incident that has not yet been reported, please use the pinned Report Form.
Effective 8/20/2026, enhancedpv is no longer suspended from attending MDVA Smash Ultimate events as the result of a successful appeal that the Committee found to show accountability, remorse, and growth.
Effective for 3 months starting 8/03/2026, Ariel is suspended from attending MDVA Smash Ultimate events for one count of hate speech. End-of-suspension appeal required.
Effective for 1 month starting 5/08/26, Kimboiyachi is suspended from attending MDVA Smash events for unsportsmanlike conduct, including excessive raging and disregard for tournament equipment.
Effective for 3 months starting 02/13/25, Surge/Cupid Mentality is suspended from attending MDVA Smash events for transphobia. End of suspension appeal required post-suspension.
enhancedpv is indefinitely suspended from events in Maryland, Virginia, & DC with the ability to appeal after 6 months, due to repeated anti-LGBT speech after warnings and bans from multiple TOs. This is effective on the notification send date of 11/25/2025.
Effective for 3 months backdated to the temporary suspension start date 9/27/25, sora893 is suspended from attending MDVA Smash events for repeated instances of inappropriate and invasive conduct. End of suspension appeal required post-suspension.
A reminder that the intention of this account is to keep the community safe and inform the public of the current MDVA suspensions/bans for clarity. Impersonating this account or group is means for suspension.
Effective for 3 months starting 10/07/25, Festive is suspended from attending MDVA Smash events for repeated offenses of unsportsmanlike conduct. Issued after unsportsmanlike conduct occurred after warning was given. End of suspension appeal required post-suspension.
Effective for 6 months starting 9/21/25, Mr. Pink is suspended from attending MDVA Smash events for repeated offense of unsportsmanlike conduct and rage, including slamming property, post first suspension. End of suspension appeal will be required with proof of steps taken.
We are announcing a new rule regarding QRT/commenting on suspension/ban announcements. Making jokes or inappropriate comments in regard to these could be seen as targeted harassment, and could result in a warning or further action. Our goal is transparency, not public shaming.
The MDVA TO Council has voted to follow this decision, extending this ban to the MDVA region.
