Punch was abandoned at birth. He didnโt have a mother to cling to, so he chose a $20 IKEA plushie as his "Ora-mama."
โThat viral video of him being dragged? Thatโs the brutal reality of the troop. Heโs an outsider trying to learn the rules of a world he wasn't raised in. He gets knocked down, runs to his toy, then goes back out to try again.
โPunch is a story about resilience when youโre starting from zero. And the internet is rooting for Punch-kun. ๐

February 21 โ lunchtime.
The keeper appeared once again for the second time today.
Punch was still reluctant to be separated.
On the same afternoon, an incident occurred in which the keeper was scolded by a group of monkeys. However, no serious injuries were reported, and Punch remains in good and healthy condition.
The image of the keeper bowing is a gesture of apology and respect to the visitors, in accordance with Japanese culture, which places great importance on responsibility and respect.
The zoo has also announced that the number of visitors on Sunday, February 22, is expected to increase and be higher than today.
