In my experience in education… Teachers who never question administrators’ decisions often get labeled “good teachers.” Teachers who ask questions often get labeled “difficult.” Have you seen this too?

Everybody wants discipline… until discipline gets loud.
Everybody wants toughness… until toughness gets uncomfortable. Hard coaching isn’t abuse.
Hard coaching is correction.
Hard coaching is standards.
Hard coaching is loving a kid enough not to let him stay average. If a coach is demanding effort, detail, toughness, and accountability bothers you… that probably says more about today’s culture than it does the coach.

In 2008 teachers actually got to do their job and parents were normal. In 2022 and beyond teachers have to fill out 14 Google Docs for sending someone to the office because parents are insane.

This transfer stuff in high school has to stop. Here is a novel idea, grow and develop where your feet are. Learn work ethic, accountability, and leadership skills instead of running away when you don't get your way. This also goes for parents. The grass isn't always greener
