ℹ️🚨|| Mark Ogden on Manchester United poor recruitment plan for the past years..
Manchester United’s recruitment problems haven’t just been about signing bad players, it’s been the lack of a clear football identity behind the decisions.
Every manager arrives with a different vision, different profiles, different priorities, and the squad becomes a mix of conflicting ideas.
One summer they recruit for possession football, the next they pivot to transitional football, then suddenly they want physicality and intensity.
You end up with an expensive squad that doesn’t fully suit any system.
A very thorough process lol 😆 without interviewing other available manager yet ole was denied because he want to continue after the interim job .. ladies and gentlemen man utd in a nutshell.
The expectation is for #MUFC to offer Michael Carrick the permanent head coach role for next season. No concrete talks or official decision has been made yet but it's looking increasingly likely that the club want to continue with the 44-year-old following impressive past months.
