Archbishop Kaziimba Arrives in Bunyoro Kitara Diocese for Farewell Visit Hoima City, 7th November 2026: The Archbishop of @ChurchofUganda_ , The Most Rev. Dr. Stephen Samuel Kaziimba Mugalu, has today afternoon arrived in Bunyoro Kitara Diocese for his farewell visit. Archbishop Kaziimba was welcomed at Kisalizi, the boundary between Masindi Kitara and Bunyoro Kitara Dioceses, by the Bishop of Bunyoro Kitara Diocese, Rt. Rev. Jacob Ateirweho and Maama Irene Ateirweho, together with Clergy and Christians of the Diocese. He was accompanied to the diocesan boundary by the Bishop of Masindi Kitara Diocese, Rt. Rev. Joshua Kugonza, where he has been since Thursday, 5th November 2026, for his farewell visit to the Diocese. He was led to St Peter’s Cathedral Duhaga for official welcome into the Diocese where he was welcomed by retired Bishops; Wilson Turumanya, Nathan Kyamanywa and Samuel Kahuma, clergy, lay readers and Christians of the Diocese. The Archbishop visited the proposed premises of Bunyoro Kitara Diocese (BKD) Jubilee Radio, where he laid a foundation stone and toured the radio studio facilities. Tomorrow, Sunday, 8th November 2026 @Archbp_COU will bid farewell to Christians of the Diocese at St. Peter’s Cathedral, Duhaga in Hoima City.
