I’d say any issues with cross platform communication are issues on the side of others, they have the restrictions, stream doesn’t, Nintendo for example, works in its own echo system

Tim Sweeney is taking another shot at Steam. The Epic Games CEO claims Valve has “held gaming back for years” by locking PC games into Steamworks’ ecosystem. Sweeney argues that Steam’s social features make it harder for players on PC to communicate cross-platform while also criticizing Steam’s 30% cut. However, that claim isn’t completely accurate. Valve’s Steam Datagram Relay can also be used across other platforms.
