Leadership has never been about recognition... It's about the responsibility we carry for the people who trust us to lead.
Last year, I was humbled to be ranked #3 among the world's Top 30 Leadership Professionals by Global Gurus.
Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of serving alongside extraordinary people, from the military to the business world. The lessons I've carried forward came from those experiences, the challenges we faced, and the people who pushed me to become a better leader.
To everyone who took the time to vote last year, thank you. Your support means more than the ranking itself.
Now, voting is open once again.
If my experiences, work, or lessons on leadership have brought you any value, I'd be grateful for your support in keeping me among the Top 3.
Regardless of the outcome, my mission remains unchanged. Continue learning, continue serving, and leave the people around me better than I found them.

AI raises serious questions. That’s all the more reason to keep its critical infrastructure here, where we can shape what happens next.

You can’t ignore government and expect there to be no consequences.

If we want young Texans to stay in rural communities, we have to create opportunity there.

Sales tax is one number. Data center site selection is a much bigger equation: land, labor, power, water, and more.
You have to look at the whole picture.

You can't execute your way out of poor planning.
Speed doesn't start on the factory floor. It starts with design, engineering, and end users aligned before fabrication begins.
Daniel Aguirre of Nucor gets it.

Copy and paste works until reality shows up.
90% of a data center build can be standardized. The other 10% is where execution gets tested.

You don't build capability when the mission starts. You build it before you're called.
Nucor had the scale, products, and supply chain ready for the AI boom. Daniel Aguirre on what it takes to deliver.

50MW to 400MW. More power. More complexity.
Daniel Aguirre of Nucor says white space steel infrastructure has more than doubled.
But steel doesn't build data centers. People do. And execution demands talent.

Old cars. Old data center racks. New steel. New data centers.

You can protest a data center. That's your right.
But if you organized it on your phone, navigated there with an app, and shared it online, there's a contradiction worth discussing.
Kirk and I address it in our latest op-ed.
