1000 pct! Moral clarity! We will not be quiet. We will not be good jews. We will not pretend and normalize being treated with double stds and we will not apply those to ourselves. Some of us will be loud and proud.

Impatience is a virtue. When you're building products that will make the world better, delays are really costly. Building autonomous surgery, I know patients are stuck on waiting lists or getting suboptimal treatment every day. Solving that even a little sooner has huge value.

in your early 20s, one of the best things you can do for yourself professionally is put yourself in extreme situations that challenge you in some way for me, that meant: >doing 40 or 50 hours a week of research during undergrad >working at a startup building optical computing hardware as employee #5 >co-founding @WisprFlow basically, you should try to identify the craziest problem someone is working on, and figure out how you might be able to help shape a solution to that problem

Let’s save some lives. ❤️
Today, we’re introducing Nefesh by @electrokare - a foundation model for human physiology. The human body produces an extraordinary amount of information. Our ability to understand it, and use it to help, has barely caught up. We started Electrokare to change that. Our first window into the body is the ECG. A few seconds of electrical activity, collected every day in clinics, hospitals, and wearables around the world. We believe it can tell physicians far more about a patient than it does today. Nefesh is our foundation for that work: learning from the underlying signal to answer a growing range of questions about cardiac function, structure, and the physiology beyond them. For a physician, the promise is concrete. Recognizing disease earlier. Knowing which patient needs a closer look. Getting more information from a test already in your hands. For us, this is the beginning of a much larger undertaking. We want to bring multiple signals and modalities together into a model of how the human body works, one that can help medicine move from treating disease after it declares itself to understanding what is changing, and acting earlier. Today, we’re sharing the first chapter. Introducing Nefesh, by Electrokare. Live across multiple clinical sites, and tens of thousands of patients. Making physiology computable. If you’re a physician or healthcare leader who wants to help build this future, I’d love to hear from you.

Mitchell is by far one of the most incredible people to talk to. Some of my family members have chronic disease and I often wonder what we could have done before the symptoms fully developed. Very exciting work!

Incredibly excited about what @MLeshchiner and the @electrokare team is building. The idea that we can unlock entirely new insights into human health from signals we already collect is incredibly powerful. Nefesh is an exciting first step toward making human physiology computable. Proud to be an early backer!
