Completing this dense, and my first, thread regarding Chemical Chartographisis (pubs.rsc.org/en/content/arti…) was time-consuming.

David Lynch gave us the language we needed to better articulate the indescribable strangeness of our shared reality. “Lynchian” is so overused because it’s a viscerally understandable word without any known synonyms. I can’t imagine a more beautiful artistic legacy than that.

From a business perspective everything BSG has done today has been absolutely baffling. The kind of unhinged Twitter outburst, the insane pricing, the loopholing over product definitions…
I don’t think I have ever seen a company behave in such a way.

I'm amazed and bewildered that a business thinks tricking it's customers into thinking they've been scammed is a good "prank". Completely destroys trust in the brand.
I hope GBK addresses this, I unsubscribed from the mailing list myself after receiving this ridiculous "joke".
An exercise in photorealism. I 3D modelled this unbranded vacuum pump based on an authentic Leybold product. Used to love working with these in the laboratory. What do you think, @LeyboldG ? ;)
The image will be used in an upcoming MM3D article discussing product renders.

You’re continually doing an amazing job in a really hard situation, Steve. I was rewatching the BBC documentary the other night, you’re a good and admirable man. Best wishes.

@gleb_alexandrov Loving the Nebula course. Only on the first few lessons and I feel like the basic noise-Voronoi method makes for excellent "cell microscope" biological style patterns too.
