Outstanding event by @FountainHeadRI & was a true honor to be among those speaking on the future of AI & data infrastructure.
Thank you @J_Dodier for the opportunity to share on what the next few years looks like for robotics & physical AI.
Thank you, @wpri12 for the spotlight and interview following Phase II of our @FountainHeadRI AI & Data Infrastructure Summit in Rhode Island.
We covered power, capital, compute and policy, but one theme rose above everything else: PEOPLE!
We built the summit as a safe, comfortable space to talk honestly about AI, where a CEO, a student and a policymaker could all ask the hard question out loud. Not hype, not fear but Curiosity & critical thinking, the ethos of what our organization has been about for over a decade.
The big question: is AI a complement to people, or a substitute? The Luddites feared machines would replace workers, instead, for 250 years, technology has freed people to do more productive work. AI can follow that arc, driving productivity and pushing down costs so the median family comes out ahead.
But that is not automatic, too often the gains have been captured by a few. So we should keep asking any dominant player: why do you have a monopoly?
And as AI gets better at imitating people, human judgment matters more, not less. The most valuable skill in this economy is asking good questions and challenging the answers.
Rhode Island’s advantage is not to chase the crowd. It is to be deliberate, build on our strengths and put our people at the center.
This transition will be judged by how many Rhode Islanders it lifts, and whether they felt welcome in the conversation.
Grateful to everyone who brought an open mind and a hard question.

My hottest take is that brand marketing is going to be THE major differentiator and one of the most prized assets for a company going forward.
And, I’m not talking about launch videos or pouring money primarily for “aesthetics” simply to pump the valuation. You still need retention before attention.
I’m talking about thinking through what a company stands for and understanding the “vibe” of what’s happening in the market. Being relentless on the long term goal while also thinking through how to showcase the company in the short term. And doing it every week.
Especially if you think agents become the primary user for most products, then to get the attention of a rapidly attention deficit audience (aka humans) you’ll need to stand out consistently in how you present the company.
These folks primary have been given tier 2 roles and passed up for CMOs many many times. I think this will finally invert in the next 10 years where you’ll hire these folks as cofounders or at least give them a big seat at the table.
Normally the design centric CEO tends to be this, but those are rare and you’ll need to learn how to hire for this role. Just like a good product marketer, these are exceptionally rare so you have one hold them close!!
Goosebumps.

Introducing Base44 Superagents.
AI agents built with managed infrastructure, secured by default, one-click integrations, and 24/7 execution from the start.
Everything is taken care of so you can focus on what your agent does, not how to get it running.
That means no API keys to juggle, no config files, no security setup, and no maintenance. We handle all of it.
Your Superagent connects to all the tools you already use in one click, runs on schedules and triggers, remembers context across sessions, acts proactively on your behalf, and keeps working around the clock.
All from wherever you already are, WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack, or your browser.
The AI agent everyone's been waiting for, with everything you need already built in.
We're excited to get this into your hands, so we're giving free credits to everyone who comments and reposts in the next 24 hours.

The current pace of technology makes me want to lock myself in a room and work 16 hours a day.
Voice agents are evolving rapidly.
This is one of the better ones I’ve seen.
“I am no longer needed for the actual technical work of my job. I describe what I want built, in plain English & it just... appears. Not a rough draft I need to fix. The finished thing. I tell the AI what I want, walk away from my computer & come back to find the work done.”

The way you think and believe impacts the way you speak, work and lead, which impacts those around you.
It’s up to you whether your mindset is an advantage or disadvantage for you and those you lead.
Mindset multiplies. Own it.
Claude Cowork really is incredible.
Just caught up on 45 contact form emails that I’ve been needing to reply to in about 10 minutes.
Despite all the books, podcasts and other business guidance that is out there, nothing really prepares you for the sacrifices needed to be a successful entrepreneur.
At the same time, nothing really prepares you for the success either when things work out.
