This is wrong on so many levels. The shut down is a means of exploiting the republican party to pay for so much garbage and yes Lola Rose illegals are getting free health care and no state funded hospitals should not be paying for it. Humane??? What is humane about coming to a country illegally and expecting its Citizens to care for you. It’s as simple as this, the illegals are here ILLEGALLY . Why in the world should our government pay for any of their services? And don’t you realize in turn, US citizens, are paying for those services through our tax dollars. Go look up what the Democrats want, it’s appalling and shocking.
Forget about whether you’re a dem or a republican. Forget about whether you’re left leaning or right leaning. Just read the information.

It’s from the Speaker laying out what is quietly pushing behind the scenes.
While millions of Americans are struggling to pay their bills, some leaders are fighting to include global pet projects and ideological spending in their budget demands.
Here is part of Speaker Johnson’s statement, word for word:
“Liberal news outlets by refunding the corporation for public broadcasting.
It would also restore up to five billion of American taxpayer funds for wasteful spending for international projects.
Here’s a couple of examples.
This is, in their legislation, their counterproposal on a CR to keep the lights open.
This is what they want to do.
They want to spend 24.6 million of your hard-earned dollars as a taxpayer, for climate resilience in Honduras.
They want to spend 13.4 million for civic engagement in Zimbabwe.
They want to send 3.9 million for LGBTQI plus democracy grants and the Western Balkans.
They want to spend 2.9 million of your dollars for desert locust risk reduction in the Horn of Africa.
And two million for, quote, organizing for feminist democratic principles in Africa.
We are not doing that.”
Read that again.
Twenty-four million for climate projects in Honduras.
Almost four million for LGBTQI+ “democracy grants” in the Balkans.
Two million for “feminist democratic principles” in Africa.
All while America faces record debt, a wide-open border, and families crushed by inflation.
This is what the Democrats are fighting for in the continuing resolution process.
Not lowering the cost of groceries or securing the southern border.
Not supporting American workers or veterans.
Instead, they want to tie the reopening of our own government to millions in taxpayer funds that will be shipped overseas for social experiments and political activism.
It is not just wasteful.
It is insulting.
Every dollar taken from hardworking Americans to fund foreign ideological programs is a dollar stolen from real priorities here at home.
It is a dollar not spent on border agents, school safety, veterans, or disaster relief.
It is a dollar that will never rebuild a bridge, fill a pothole, or help a single struggling family in this country.
This is why Speaker Johnson is right to draw a line.
The American people deserve a government that puts them first.
If Democrats want to keep the lights on, they should stop trying to sneak global pet projects into a funding bill.
No taxpayer should have to pay for feminist organizing in Africa or climate resilience in Honduras while our own cities crumble and our borders are overrun.
America’s budget should serve America’s people.
Period.
The Speaker is standing up for common sense, fiscal responsibility, and national sovereignty.
It is long past time Washington stopped using our tax dollars to promote ideology abroad and started focusing on rebuilding our own country.
Quit listening to mainstream media and do your own research. It’s completely unacceptable. I should never have to spend my hard earned money to care for, feed or house anyone that is here ILLEGALLY!!
