🚨BREAKING: Claude can now help you build an Instagram page from scratch and hit revenue in 120 days — without showing your face, and posting is free. Imagine a page with 500k followers. One post reaches over half a million people. That reach is valuable to you and to companies worldwide. You’re still early — like real estate in the 1980s or crypto in 2014. Over 5 billion people use social media monthly, but only 1% create content. Even if that doubled, you’d be ahead of 98%. Don’t look back in 5 years wishing you’d started. Make the promise today.

If my 84-year-old Dad wanted to make an extra $10,000/month… I’d never suggest ATMs. I’d avoid vending machines. I’d stay away from day trading. Instead, I’d show him this hands-off side hustle (that pays me $25k/month). Here’s the simple setup:

A post saying people can't even sit through a 30-minute TV show anymore got over a million views. Short clips are eating everything. Founders, this applies to you too. Nobody is watching your 45-minute demo. They're watching the 40 seconds where the product actually does the thing. Cut your best moment into a clip, post it, then post it again next week. Distribution is sooooo much easier when people get it before they scroll away :)

Can robotics startups actually become profitable companies beyond the demos and the LOIs? That's the argument everyone in this space is having, and I think the answer lives in some very unsexy details. First, figure out who actually pays. In construction it's rarely the person using the robot. Most of the time a subcontractor or an equipment leasing company buys the machines, but the general contractor is the one who asks them to carry it. Somebody high up who cares about the project's bottom line and bidding lower than competitors makes the decision, and the foreman and superintendent care about work done on time with fewer injuries on the crew. You have to sell to all three. Second, offer lease and purchase. Different customers want different things, and forcing one model on everyone is just leaving deals on the table. Third, the service ratio is the business model. If every robot needs its own babysitter, you built an expensive tool. If one technician runs 10 to 20 robots, you built a margin. Fourth, reuse your platform. Our next robots share the same chassis wherever we can, so every new task costs a fraction of the first one. A demo gets you a round, and unit economics get you a company. I spent years in factories watching that difference up close.

One of the people who ran science at OpenAI is now building robot chemistry labs. Warp Sciences came out of stealth with a $215M Series A to make and test molecules for drug discovery here in the US. This is the part of AI I get most excited about. Models keep getting cheaper. The data you can only get by running real experiments in the real world does not. IMO the next wave of great companies takes AI out of the browser and puts it somewhere that needs gloves haha

I read Elon's biography on repeat. The moment I finish, I start again, because whenever I'm stuck on a hardware problem, there's a page where he was stuck on something worse and kept going. In Elon we trust.

If you own an agency, I'm begging you: • Pay 20-30% over market rate • Stop believing your closer when he blames the leads • Stop being your own ops manager • Stop thinking info will fix your agency If you want to get past $100k/mo… Here's what I'd do:

Doing competitive analysis before you've solved a problem for a single customer is irrelevant. Put blinders on, figure out who your customer is and what hurts, and find out whether they'll pay you to make it stop.

Small design detail I love: when a robot runs out of wire it blinks yellow, when the battery is low it blinks red, and whoever manages it gets a phone notification either way. Jobsites are loud and dusty, so a robot has to talk like a traffic light.

Robotics rounds keep getting bigger, and I'm happy for every team that lands one. It's good for all of us. Our pre-seed was a $4.3M party round, and the lead came in last with a $1M check. Nobody tells you it can work that way. Smaller rounds force a different kind of engineering. You can't buy your way out of a bad design, so you fix it on the bench at 6am. I think that makes for tougher robots.

Someone asked me how to get a job at a hot startup. Kind of joking, I told them to start one and hire themselves haha But there's something real in it. The people founders fight to hire are usually the ones who already act like owners: shipping side projects, cold emailing customers, fixing things nobody asked them to fix. If you want in, don't send a resume. Send the thing you built.

The FCC banned new imports of foreign-made humanoids and robot dogs in July. Everyone's debating which humanoid company wins. I'm way more interested in who builds the motors and components Western robot makers suddenly need to buy at home.
