Perfectionism that bleeds into dating 😅. People are always on the hunt to be the next “power couple” for optics but don’t actually evaluate whether they like the person or have similar values. And it’s always hidden under the guise of “never settle”.
Just so everyone’s clear, the Democratic caucus will nominate Hakeem Jeffries to be Speaker. He’s very popular in the caucus and no one is challenging him for the job. No amount of fantasy football wishcasting will change that. Take the blue wave W and go touch some grass.
I lean in. I laugh at jokes that are not that funny. I touch. I lightly roast if I really like them. I like to see if they’re quick and witty and not too in their feelings about teasing.

Adding to this, a lot of leftists are chronically online and learned activism through the internet. Thats why they have the superiority attitude and purity contests with politics. It’s not based in actual policy work or community building.
