SCDOT is beginning construction of a bridge replacement along S-340 (Hellams Circle) over Mountain Creek in Laurens County. The bridge replacement is part of SCDOT’s 10-Year Plan to replace or repair more than 465 aging bridges across the state by 2027.

As part of its 10-Year Plan, SCDOT is replacing two bridges on S-272 Graham Road 5 miles northeast of Pomaria in Newberry County. The existing bridges over Second Creek and one of its tributaries will be closed for an estimated 6 months during construction of the new bridges...
