Not a Nets lifer obviously but that makes me unbiased. I like Egor but it has been clear since summer 2025 that French Maxey is the highest ceiling player in that class

Nolan gets blocks as a midget, has seemingly taken a FTR leap, and gets his shit off at ease. Let’s ride yo

Utah Jazz star Jaren Jackson Jr. has sustained a torn MCL in his right knee and will be sidelined for 6-to-8 weeks, sources tell me and @BannedMacMahon. Jackson will not require surgery.

25 deflections last night and Indiana still shot a 70.0% effective FG%. That's exactly what MPJ is describing. Level coverage only works if the back line rotates on time, and when the big steps up and the pocket pass beats him, there's nobody home behind it. Sharpe is the one big who can actually recover from that, and the team's 21.3 points per 100 better with him on the floor through 3 games. Either give him more minutes or stop sending the big up to the level against teams that can pass.

How Sean Marks still has a job is beyond me. 5 picks in one draft and the only player that was good for the pick he was taken at (Traore) was an accident because Portland decided to step on the Hansen Yang rake before Marks could. Man is a fucking idiot. Please free MPJ

The worst part of the 2025 Nets draft class is they gave Hansen Yang, a meme player, a promise in the teens Just a lost org

Mario Hezonja on waiving off Donovan Mitchell: “I told him you’re not supposed to bring the ball up under pressure. I waived JT out to go 1-on-1 against my mismatch. I spoke to James and Donovan, there’s 5 of us on the court and you need to read those mismatch situations.”
Finn Kuehl@finleykuehlOct 23
Donovan Mitchell didn't seem too happy with Mario Hezonja calling his own number on this play 😅 Hezonja was able to punish the mismatch though

Nuggets rookie Trevon Brazile just had one of the best games from a rookie so far this season. 17 PTS, 9 REB, 2 BLK, 6/11 FG, 3/7 3FG, 67 TS% 35th pick in the draft.

MPJ led both teams with 28 this game btw 28 and 9 boards with 4 steals. +6 against the ECF team from last year. 10-18 shooting, efficient as always If Nets fans think he is why they lost, I would love to see how their games go without him

@ErikSlater_Oct 25
The Nets need more from MPJ defensively. You can't have B2B possessions like this to end the half when trying to make a comeback. Julius Randle's defense has also left a lot to be desired. Brooklyn needs its lead duo to step up on D to survive. It's not good enough right now.

Who would play more minutes: Cam Johnson with a bruised toenail or Michael Porter Jr after stepping on a landmine
Jeremy Nicolls@JeremyNicollsOct 23
Cam Johnson getting injured in game one of the season is wild man. We can never get a healthy Nuggets team.
