I always wanted to learn more about Aucton Market Theory / VWAPs and I must say I am loving it!
Since the markets I like to trade have been moving erratic lately and most of the big traders I know are sitting this one out until after the midterm elections, I am using the time to learn from my friend Markus.
Really loving the added structure to better time my exits! ๐
I am looking forward to speaking on Ausbiz TV about "3 Key Lessons Learned From Kristian Qullamaggie's Trading Career"

Watched the Mike Tyson Documentary on @netflix yesterday.
50 years ago, as a young kid Mike Tyson would rewatch fights of reigning world champion boxers and then shadow box for hours how he would beat them!
There is a powerful lesson here for traders:
Nowadays we have incredible tools at our fingertips. AI can help us to explore strategies, test different models, sharpen our setups and give us useful stats as a window into what's possible.
But what Mike Tyson did with his shadow boxing sessions is akin to live market replay, modelling successful traders and practicing different strategies to put that intellectual understanding to practical work.
Spot the setup. Make the decision. Practise the exit. Review. Repeat.
Each rep gives you a chance to close the gap between โI understand thisโ and โI can do this.โ
You donโt have to master everything today. You just have to make todayโs practice count.
Let AI sharpen your thinking.
Let practice sharpen your execution.
Great video, and it also confirms the self-defeating patterns I see in struggling traders.
It's also reiterating one fact about human psychology:
"Everybody knows what to do, it's the doing what you know that's the hard part"..
That's why no matter the endeavour, athletes, traders, poker players.. only those who can take control [note: NOT control, TAKE control!] of their thoughts and feelings are the only ones who can succeed - ever!
What's the situation at the Australian answer to the Shenzhen gold hub, the ABC Bullion doing @Tony_Sycamore ? ๐
Shenzhen gold hub sees crowds as spot prices slip below $4,000/oz
Gold prices fell over the weekend, and the Shuibei market โ a gold jewelry manufacturing and trading hub in the southern metropolis of Shenzhen, South China's Guangdong Province โ saw a surge of visitors. Photos posted by netizens on Chinese social media platforms showed some aisles so crowded that people could barely move.
Netizens flooded the platforms with posts like "There are more people here buying gold than you'd find at a vegetable market," while "booming" and "packed with people" became buzzwords. (Global Times)
We missed you and your analysis!!

๐ฆง๐ฆฆ A Belgian zoo introduced a gang of otters to its orangutans to keep them from getting bored. And then all hell broke loose!
At Pairi Daiza Zoo in Belgium, staff came up with an unusual idea: let a family of Asian small-clawed otters share a habitat with the giant ginger orangutans.
And it turned out to be a brilliant idea! The little furry troublemakers started climbing out of the water, pestering the orangutans, and challenging them to play. And the orangutans happily joined in!
An orangutan named Ujian and his son Berani became especially close friends with the otters.
In 2020, photos of this adorable and unlikely friendship went viral around the world.

Linda rode the Black Monday โ87 #SP500 rodeo like a Champion! ๐ค Getting bucked of a horse with a big nose on the anniversary? Fate has indeed a twisted sense of humour.. ๐ข๐ค
But Linda is no stranger to life's unexpected twists & turns:
In Trading Sardines (pg 58) Linda recounts how a riding accident forced her off the trading floor:
"Fate would have it that I had an accident on the first horse I tried when the bit broke in hit's mouth.
This is like having the brakes go on a Ferrari..
I separated my right shoulder ... and I could no longer trade from the floor for a while.
... I started trading from upstairs. Years later leaving the trading floor turned out to be a blessing in disguise."
This is what true Champions are made of: Broken ribs, busted shoulder and immediately looking for a way forward!
"Perseverance, resourcefulness and a sense of humour overcome any challenge!"
Heal well, Wiz ๐ @LindaRaschke

I did not! Got bucked off a new horse and now laid up with broken ribs and a messed up shoulder...what to do?....I know! trade!
