Today, with huge thanks to Ealing Hospital, we planted a tree - the UK’s only memorial to NHS staff who have died by suicide. May they rest in peace, and may we redouble our efforts to stop it happening ever in the future. 3/3

My daughter was issued a detention because her iPad, when she arrived at school, was 93%. The assistant head, who I’ve since emailed, has set the expectation that iPads be no lower than 97% or pupils will be punished. I’m flummoxed. Has anyone heard of such nonsense?

Learners with additional learning needs carry a ‘heavier load’. This leads to increased anxiety at baseline leading to lower tolerance levels. We must not benchmark their behaviour against learners who do not have ALN - plz show more compassion & patience. #ALNWales #edutwitter
