The worst part of this is that they probably, all of them, end up voting for Schumer in their secret ballot and people’s hopes are raised - and then they end up getting mad at Senate Dems from the get go.

Interesting. Sen. Elissa Slotkin says conversations to challenge Schumer are “happening rapidly.”
Favreau not giving up… “there’s never been a woman majority leader in the history of the Senate. Nobody has said they’re willing to run and challenge Chuck Schumer.”

To my ears it sounds like she is pre-spinning how Schumer critics will justify him being leader again. But if you have different ears it sounds like she wants to run for leader.
