How far away is 5 shots to the hole? Obviously, it depends on your skill level—and the difference is stark.
In this episode, Lou quizzes Mark and Greg about the length of a "perfect" par 5 for a scratch, 10, and 20 index golfer. A key issue: quality of strike. But also: maybe think about playing a shorter set of tees?

A nice milestone: my *calculated* combined squat/bench/deadlift has just passed 950lbs.
My hunch: the calculated numbers are reasonable for bench and squat. I'm not convinced I could break the ground with a 410 deadlift—yet.
Was giving serious consideration to a manual curved treadmill, but alas! my basement ceiling is too low, and overall fitness is likely to suffer from repeatedly bashing my head into the rafters.
We have a hole at our course that just added two symmetrically planted saplings down each side of the fairway. I've debated the ethics of killing them.
Hoping that somewhere in the world, there are children who are wearing Legion XIII polos with their Tampa Bay World Series champions hats.

Had a former student of mine text me this morning that he benched 1x235. So I had to try to top him (I love fractional plates); 1x237.5lb. This honestly went up a lot smoother than I expected.
