Oh dear - an interesting policy option might be expecting companies to invest as much into sustainable energy or nuclear innovation ( @LastEnergy is cool) as they are into H100s
One H100 server uses about 24x the amount of kwh's as my whole house! My house: avg of 10 kwh / day H100 server: 10kw expected draw * 24hrs = 240 kwh / day More details: My house: 60 amps main * 240v (120/240v) * 80% max load = 11,520 watts max, actual draw much much lower H100 server: 6x 3000w PSUs, expected 10,000+ watts draw - typically fed by dual 3 phase feeds at 415v - so you'd technically need at least one feed of 20 amps * 415v * sqrt(3) * 80% load 11,553 watts to power the server - but in practice 2x that so that you can do maintenance on the whole distribution chain

Our goal is to transform how nuclear power is developed -- combining proven reactor technology with a first-of-its-kind delivery model and fully modular plant design. Last Energy aims to decarbonize global energy production and increase access to clean, affordable power.

Update: we still truly, literally have an industry that thinks it's a good thing if NRC puts into regulation that they have to analyze to events occurring once every 50 million years. This is the day to day that still manages to shock me and why I put "industry" in quotes often.
NASA: "global environmental catastrophes, which place the entire population of the Earth at risk, are estimated to take place several times per million years on average." www2.jpl.nasa.gov/sl9/back2.… NRC/DOE: Let's analyze to once every 10 million years! Industry: cool, cool. 🤔🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️
