Biology doesn't operate in silos, and neither should the AI representation of it. Quine is an early-stage research effort to create a multimodal world model of biology. By connecting insights across biological scales and modalities, Quine helps scientists computationally search a space far larger than intuition allows and prioritize hypotheses before they reach the lab. Experimental results provide important feedback, helping researchers sharpen future research directions. msft.it/6014acaRn

$QUINE was launched today by @Microsoft. It is the epicenter of ground breaking biological research, Paired to $MSFT for obvious reasons.
Decades of Biological advanced research, Nearly five years of the specific ML-biology threads, multiple years of broad cancer collaboration.
This is HUGE, a friend of mine is going to make a tool that compiles Quine's research into an explorer tool, he's going to add A.I functionalities to it in an effort to mimic the framework for real-world use.
Stay tuned for updates on the progress of the utility development. 🎉

It’s been such a fun experience getting to work on Quine. The coolest part has honestly been seeing our different research and work streams converge to contribute to this unified system.

It was such a pleasure to spend my internship with the Quine team at @MSFTResearch Cambridge and have a chance to meet and work with some of the amazing people behind the project.
Congratulations to the entire Project Quine team on the great work! 🎉

Day 6 of the Bio x AI arc
Microsoft just announced Quine, a world model for biology. Another megacap name throwing resources behind the theme.
Every exponential inflection has a takeoff. We're in the takeoff of interest and money coming into bio x AI.
Still early.
