The sun is shining down on Davis Wade this morning. Temps will only warm to the upper 70s, but the sun will make it feel very hot. Make sure to wear sunscreen!

Clear skies are persistent over campus today with dry weather letting temps warm up again into the low 80’s this afternoon. Starkville is included in ongoing Burn Bans across Mississippi. This means no open flames with embers are permitted.

Another picture-perfect day☀️
Conditions in the upper 70s right now, but dropping off into the 50s this evening.
Thursday will be another day of sunshine and 70s.
Beautiful clouds in the sky this morning over Starkville. We will be in the upper 70s this afternoon with overnight lows in the 40s. Aside from some passing clouds, the sun will continue to shine☀️🍂
Beautiful and crisp morning here in Starkville. A cool breeze is making for a nice walk to class. Heating up into the lows 70s this afternoon with sun shining all day☀️🍂🚶♀️
Clouds and gusty winds are currently moving into northeast Mississippi, with temps in the upper 70s and falling with this dry cold front, bringing our overnight temps to the upper 40s for the first time this fall!
We are already approaching today's highs across northeast Mississippi. Temps are already in the 90s, and are expected to warm to 93. Tonight will be cooler, with a low of 65. Tomorrow will be much cooler, with a high of 83, but a cold front will cool us off throughout the day.
Good morning! Another beautiful morning here on campus. We expect temperatures to once again warm quickly into the low-mid 90’s. A major cool down is expected for the weekend with highs in the 60’s and 70’s and lows in the 40’s! #msuwx
Current temperatures this morning are starting off cool! Sadly, as the sun starts to come up, those temperatures will rise quite quickly into the lower 90’s. We could hit record highs today. By this weekend, a strong front looks likely and could bring increased fire danger.
By this weekend, much cooler air is likely. A front will push in Friday bringing 40’s possible for Saturday morning and Sunday morning. With that, dew points will likely be in the 30’s and 40’s noting really dry air :) #happyfall #msuwx
Today we have a limited risk of fire danger. This looks to stay around for the week and looks to increase by the weekend as we push even drier air and gusty winds. Stay tuned. #msuwx
Expect temperatures to reach low 90’s today! It will be quite warm, but dry. We will continue those dry conditions for the workweek before a front this weekend.
We're closely watching the forecast for Tropical Depression Nine, forecast to become Tropical Storm Isaias sometime tomorrow.
