Coming soon, according to the publisher … a paperback version of The Folklore of Devon.
Still slightly academic press pricing, but hopefully more affordable for many of you. This edition will apparently retail at £20

January's album of the month is Albion by Harp.
A beautilluly produced set of songs that take us on a journey through Medieval and Renaissance times. Through ancient landscapes, castles & Tudor villages & the mist on the moor.

"They looked towards the hilltop & saw a yellow flame rising against the sky. Too-ticky had lit the bonfire
It wrapped itself in flames at once, from ground to top, it gave a roar like a lion & threw its reflection straight down on the black ice"

Brilliant paper at #GothicWomen by @DrPennyBradshaw on Radcliffe’s travels to the lakes. In fact, enjoyed it so much I have just brought Penny’s book😀
It brings Radcliffe’s travel writings into print for the first time. Can’t wait. 😃😃
