Took a while this one.
Safe travels to all the Stags fans making their way to Northampton this morning for the early kick off.
A rather interesting kit history visiting the Cobblers and today sees the home shirt worn here for the fourth consecutive visit.
A first tonight at Huddersfield…
The, shall we say, controversial third kit makes an appearance for the first time in the EFL Trophy which also marks, as far as I can see, the first time we’ve not worn our home kit at Huddersfield.
An interesting historical record of kits away at Luton over the years.
Tomorrow will be the first time the home kit has been worn there since 2002.
It’s usually the home shirt worn against @OfficialPVFC as you can see below with the odd exception.
It will however be the second league outing for the somewhat controversial third shirt tomorrow at Vale Park. @mansfieldtownfc
Today’s surroundings for @mansfieldtownfc at @wwfcofficial
Ahead of a trip to Adams Park tomorrow let’s look at ‘what we wore’ at @wwfcofficial @mansfieldtownfc
The Stags visit @LincolnCity_FC today so it seems a good time to share Stewart Hadley’s matchworn shirt from a 1994 trip to Sincil Bank.
This match was the first time this version of the Pelada home shirt with the smaller collar was used. @mansfieldtownfc
With @Everton out of the way we turn attention to @SkyBetLeagueOne duties away at @LincolnCity_FC tomorrow
Let’s look at ‘what we wore’ at Sincil Bank. Interestingly tomorrow will in all likelihood be the 1st time we’ve worn our away kit there for over 40 years @mansfieldtownfc
They gave it all @mansfieldtownfc Credit to @Everton it’s a lovely place to watch football.
Not a bad ground is it 😂 @mansfieldtownfc @Everton
Unfortunately I can’t bring you a @mansfieldtownfc ‘what we wore’ for @Everton but I can share with you what we wore in the League Cup 2nd round all the way back to 1980.
As you can see we haven’t made it that far that many times!
Another one of collection sourced from ex player Alistair Asher.
This is the 1997/98 centenary shirt and it’s one of our absolute best, delighted to get a short sleeve matchworn to go with the long sleeved one already in the collection.
@mansfieldtownfc
Now we’ve seen them all in action, which one is your favourite? @mansfieldtownfc
Another shirt from last season with Lee Gregory’s away shirt from the defeat at Shrewsbury.
Really did like this shirt and great to have a Gregory shirt now it looks like he might not play for us again due to injury.
Ahead of the long trip to Exeter let’s take a look at ‘what we wore’. Today we wear the new away kit for the first time and it’s the first time we’ve worn an away kit at Exeter since 2014.
Let’s have a look at ‘what we wore’ at Chesterfield.
This only goes back to 1980 as I haven’t designed the 70s kits yet.
If anyone has any information on the missing games it would be hugely appreciated.
Last seasons home shirt from the FA Cup third round home defeat against Wigan worn by the recently departed Keanu Baccus.
Let’s try and cheer ourselves up with a new Sunday shirt.
Another one from the collection of Alistair Asher that we added into the collection recently.
This is the 2000/01 away shirt in long sleeves. The sponsor was added part way through the season. @mansfieldtownfc
