This book was a lifetime in the making—and then it became something I never planned. I spent years researching a science-apologetics book. It was my entire life. But when it came time to write, I just didn’t have the heart for it. Years of trials had left me feeling dry and weary. I didn’t want to argue about God. Instead, I wanted to sit with Him. Every time I looked at incredible images of the heavens, I felt renewed. I felt close to Him. I thought about what the heavens were declaring about Him. So I asked a different question: What do the heavens actually tell us about His nature, His character, and His love? I started off writing a simple devotional, but it turned into something more: equal parts Bible study, personal reflection, and astronomy lesson—with a little history stitched in—along with over 100 stunning images of God’s handiwork in the cosmos. I love it, and I think you'll love it, too. The Heavens Declare is out November 3 from Moody Publishers, with a foreword by Lee Strobel.
