╱ okay, since this account died I may have 2 flip to an oc in this verse

he can pick out some nice picture books if that’s more her style. excuse his pent up wizarding humour, he’ll apologise by offering her a cup instead.

so he’s come to realise lately, but that’s not to take away from his point neither ⸻ this was about his taste in literature, after all. … he’s quite fond of all that, as a matter of fact. he just happens to enjoy a nice glass of wine and a good book every now and then too.

It certainly hasn’t been his experience. It might be surprising to hear, but it isn’t something wizards often bring up when talking to their colleagues.

i’m not going to dignify that with a response. instead, i’m going to sit here, enjoy my wine and my book and pretend you didn’t just ask mystra’s former chosen that.

it was a 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 book ☝️. he was mystra’s chosen, he hardly needs to brush up on the weave. what would she consider to be “entertaining”, then? ( he says, y’know, closing the book with a flick of his wrist. )

it’s a captivating read, as a matter of fact. sometimes he even likes to conjure illusions to go along with it too. but! it’s hardly a substitute for decent company.

he can be found casting mage hand to hold his book for him while he does all the hard work ( turning the page and holding a cup of wine in his hand. ) reaping the benefits of an education at blackstaff academy.
