God grant the serenity to accept the things I canβt change,
the courage to change the things I can and wisdom to know the difference!
I really donβt understand where government got the wisdom to get this company the jobπ€¦πΏββοΈπ€¦πΏββοΈ How is wish someone one takes it to court of law. You canβt be this unserious. π€
My brother Mr Mutebi as a minister you have an obligation to protect the name and public image of your government, not everything you go your way but in politics you must learn how to contain crises
Dear Madam President @kadondigracious, kindly receive.
Thank you (and yours) for the opportunity to serve. I resign with a bright smile.

The KABAKA is a lovely great human being with an aura that you simply cannot purchase. Charles Peter Mayiga the KATIKIRO is one of the best public speakers we have at the moment. He is a very hard working man who just does his work with loads of restraint and class. No one will get anywhere by attacking these two. This I can tell you for free. No matter how veiled your assault on them will be Buganda is a very complex, and intelligent institution that manages its public engagement in a measured way having learned from its mistakes of the 1960s. One of the things Buganda and Mengo do very well is choosing who is worth their response. Banyooomi nyo eMeng' awo...Bwo bayisaamu olugaayu the first question that ask after making phone calls to each other is "Ono ye yaani?" Nga bakuba obukule and they move on past or around you. You simply will never know that this they did...They switch language from ordinary Luganda and start speaking in deep parables.
Buganda Lwazi...
I am not a monarchist myself for very Biblical Theological reasons but I am as well educated enough to respect and appreciate things I do not believe in. Buganda is one of the biggest, untapped tourism potentials that we have as a nation. It is amazing how many people go to Britain to visit anything related to the British Monarchy.
Our Politics needs to grow and appreciate that Buganda is here to stay. It has in the past had, and still makes a very large and positive contribution to this amalgamation we call a nation. The sooner we all see this the better. This is not to say that the institution has not made mistakes. Some reckless comments have been made by some people. Granted, but why would anyone sensible and educated wash away the baby and the birth water?

Every year on Halloween, thousands of people turn New York into a real-life "Thriller" music video.
This year, the 53rd edition takes place tonight, Saturday, October 31, starting at 7:00 p.m. on Sixth Avenue.
Government πππ so funny.
Uganda is looking forward to recognising its Indian community as an indigenous group in the Constitution, Parliament Speaker Jacob Marksons Oboth has said.
He was speaking to Indian journalists on the sidelines of the 12th BRICS Parliamentary Forum in New Delhi, India. #OpenGovUg
Jesus Christ what is the government thinking π³π³

Wawooo not for the weak!
In 2005, I started a lorry transport business specializing in building materials. I had graduated from taxi business.
My three lorries were sold to me by a friend of a friend completely on very little installment based on trust & my good image.
By 2020, I was boasting of about 20 trucks. 17 years later in 2022, I wound the business. No money on the business account and no lorry in the parking space. In case you are new in the business & intend to start one, these are the things that crushed mine.
1. The COVID-19 two-year spell. Building material transportation was allowed to operate. But, I had limited supervision even when I was a police boss that was considered essential worker. I couldnβt tell where the lorries were. Some drivers leased out the vehicles to cement factories & were paid while they lied to me that the vehicles were parked. The stone boulders plus long distances from Karamoja wrecked the lorries. In 2 years, the highest amount I could sell the vehicle was 10m out of a possible 150m.
2. Drivers change tyres & replace them with old ones. Instead of tyres lasting 7 months and more, the 10 tires are changed twice or thrice in a year.
3. Drivers will hire out the vehicle to other unauthorized drivers who donβt care about the safety of the vehicle. They will drive day and night while you get nothing. One time, I woke up & saw a picture of my vehicle βrestingβin someoneβs home. It had failed to brake & rammed into someoneβs home. Fortunately, no one was hurt. I was surprised to be told it was being driven by a third person & had paid for new brakes a week before.
4. You will find your vehicle parked on the road. βWhatβs the problem you askβ? βAfande it could not breakβ. After a bit of mechanical check the following day, youβre told that while it was parked, someone came & stole a starter system valued at 5m. What?π³
5. Every trip of sand the driver carries say from Lwera, is full board capacity. Then 1/4, is removed & powered at the driversβ mound of sand somewhere in the city. Later, he starts carrying his own sand but will tell you he parked the lorry then whole day because he was sick or the vehicle had a fault. All the money made is his.
6. You will be called that NEMA enforcement found your lorry in a swampy area. They need 2m fine or pay a bribe of 500k. This happens to be connivance with your driver. You pay the bribe and they share.
7. Repairs are the most pocket ripping venture. Youβre told this and that is faulty. You canβt be driving to garages all the time. Even if you went & bent your knee under the carriage of your lorry, you wonβt tell a faulty propeller shaft from a good one. Either the vehicle is not faulty or the cost of spare parts is exaggerated.
7. The taxes. Do I need to say anything about this? Youβre assessed money that buys a new truck in domestic taxes. All the time your vehicle was in garage, you should have notified URA. Tell me, which driver does this? So, all the small profit you made, is taken away by the taxman.
8. I swear, itβs like no truck in Uganda is supposed to last a year without terrible accidents. Youβre always compensating for killing dogs, goats, destruction of houses, cars, or Petro stations. Hew!
9. The driver declares any money he chooses. No question. He calls for the shots. Not you.
10. If you buy a truck at 200m & it works for a week, it has lost value of 100m if you wish to sell it. Which business is this that makes assets depreciate in a week?
My post is not meant to discourage you, but to give you background information so that you mitigate against these before you venture into this business. Do I talk too much? May be not!

If government was serious the entire management of that company would be fired, but since they are family members nothing can be done.
Naye @UEDCLTD, look at the losses you are causing young investors! πππ People are struggling to build businesses and create jobs, but such challenges only make their journey harder. Who will compensate them for these losses? π
That is why, personally a woman that clubs or takes alcohol. I donβt think we can work out, we can never have anything serious or even take you serious.
Now imagine having a girlfriend that clubs
Dr. Hold on. You released that late. If we break above UGX 4510/ 1USD do it. Otherwise you donβt want to buy an expensive dollar and sell it cheap.
Tomorrow, I'm withdrawing a good part of my money from the ugx account, converting it to dollars and first store it on the dollar account for sometime until things become predictable again.
I can't sit there and see my money disappearing everyday.
Someone who had 100m ugx in bank a week ago, has lost 10m ugx in just 7 days without spending a penny and they're losing more every passing hour then dollar gains.
