Et ça continue : Hermès vient d'annoncer le début de la construction de sa future manufacture de Loupes, commune rurale de 900 habitants située dans l'est du département de la Gironde. 300 emplois directs seront créés.
Ce sera la 25ème manufacture d'Hermès en 🇫🇷.

On this day in 1997, Microsoft invested $150 million in Apple. This largely symbolic investment was apart of a settlement agreement between the 2 companies over the stolen QuickTime code incident. It did NOT save Apple from bankruptcy, as is often claimed.

Google Cloud accidentally deleted a company's entire cloud environment (Unisuper, an investment company, which manages $80B). The company had backups in another region, but GCP deleted those too. Luckily, they had yet more backups on another provider.
