For anyone experiencing dark times this quote by Louise Flory always helped me. Remember that it's a miracle that we even exist, we fight for survival and win just to be here. You are capable of beating anything. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
Astral Chain has one of the most interesting combat systems I've encountered, I'm totally addicted. Controlling 2 characters simultaneously sounds like a nightmare but it's so intuitive and smooth to play. Loving this game so far. The soundtrack is 馃敟 too
Seeing as it's spooky season I decided to play through Iron Lung. The fact I've seen many streamers playthroughs and I'm pretty desensitised to horror at this point and yet this was still a nail biting experience tells you how good it is. A masterclass in design, outstanding
Dragon's Dogma 2 has such insane encounters. Here I am busy minding my own business being roasted by a giant fire chicken when a Snowfoot arrives. I don't mind getting beat but I draw the line at being used as a projectile weapon. Needless to say I took it personally
Finished the campaign and true ending in Dragon's Dogma 2 and on to the real fun. I was already a huge fan and the DLC perfects the formula. I love everything added here and the endgame is super fun, well done to the team that worked on this, it's fantastic
Looking back over the games I've played this year and this is still one of the best, Duskfade. Beautiful game with super smooth, satisfying gameplay and exploration. The story is excellent too, highly recommended
Started Silver Pines for my Halloween game, so far it's awesome. Atmosphere is perfect and the level design is excellent, very impressed
Dragon's Dogma 2 Dark Arisen is quickly becoming one of my favourite games I've played this year, everything they've added has been awesome so far and the story is excellent. Enjoying exploring the new region with my party (My Arisen is front left, main pawn front right)
I love the pawn interactions in Dragon's Dogma 2, it's why this is one of my all time favourite RPGs. The interactions feel natural and it makes it immersive and feels like you're on a real adventure
I don't think Dragon's Dogma 2 pawn system gets enough credit. Having allies with you who have travelled with other players and remember locations of treasure is amazing. Using online to help players between worlds this way is great, similar to Death Stranding 1/2
Such a brave selection of warriors with proud, enigmatic names. Which one shall I choose to accompany me on my journey?
Getting ready for the Dragon's Dogma 2 DLC, looking forward to getting stuck in. I love exploring this world, always gives me LOTR vibes. It really is beautiful
