#TrumpIsUnfitForOffice    #wtpBLUE    WE THE PEOPLE   wtp3273   “Claim your child’s Trump account today.“ With the midterm elections days away, President Trump‘s IRS and the Social Security Administration have been emailing taxpayers urging them to sign their children up for new investment accounts. Republicans have decided on the title “President Donald J Trump‘s landmark Working Families Tax Cuts Law.“ It’s the One Big Beautiful Bill Act in actuality, the tax and spending law Trump signed in 2025. The Social Security Administration stated, “Nearly 70 million Trump accounts are open for all American children.”
Both the Social Security administration and the IRS are run by Frank Bisignano. He was appointed head of IRS without being confirmed by Scott Bessent, the Secretary of Treasury. Democrats criticize Bisignano’s blatant partisan emails, full of praise for President Trump. The most recent email stated: “Your child’s Trump account may already have money invested in it through contributions from donors…however you must claim your child’s account to manage investments and receive contributions from family, friends and employers.” As of October 7, about $1.3 billion in $1000 deposits have been made, according to the White House. Just another vote-buying tactic right before voters go to the polls.

#TrumpIsUnfitForOffice    #wtpBLUE    WE THE PEOPLE   wtp3272 “The White House cannot decide what information Americans receive by punishing critical reporting… the public loses access and gets something closer to government propaganda,” said Katie Fallow of Knight First Amendment Institute. Six named plaintiffs have filed a lawsuit in federal district court over Trump‘s continuing decisions to limit press access. The White House still bans CNN from Air Force One. Further legal actions have been threatened about that. In ever more unhinged rants during press questions, Trump recently verbally attacked a British reporter and prevented him from being the designated print pool representative, an act of “retaliation,“ the president of the White House Correspondents Association said. The White House is still threatening Politico.
Just recently Trump mused on social media that he’s considering moving the press corp out of the White House altogether. Can anyone get through to Trump? He wrote his longest-ever social media post recently because he was upset over comments made by Bill Maher on his HBO show. This is what the president chooses to focus on with prices going ever upward and people getting ready to vote.

#TrumpIsUnfitForOffice    #wtpBLUE   WE THE PEOPLE   wtp3271   In President Trump‘s first administration, his DC Hotel was the center for those trying to win favor with him by spending money there. All that’s changed this time is the location. Nearly $3 million has been spent at Trump‘s businesses, mostly in Palm Beach Florida, the center of spending.
The Washington Post recently examined federal finance records, and found Republican campaigns and political action committees have poured money directly into the president’s pockets. Spending at Mar-a-Lago has more than tripled. Fundraisers, rooms, meals, and other expenses constitute the link between the Republican Party and the private businesses of this president. Lawmakers fly hundreds of miles from their own districts and Washington DC to spend money at properties Trump owns. It’s nearly the same amount that was spent at his hotel in his first term. This total doesn’t include any spending by dark-money groups.
The largest spender is the RNC, then Trump‘s own super PAC MAGA, Inc., and the Republican Congressional Committee. Natalie Baldassarre, spokesperson for the RNC stated, “Our stakeholders love these venues.” Ever bigger scandals continue to compete for news headlines as the grifting continues, including his cryptocurrency schemes. Trump‘s income in 2025 was over $2.2 billion, according to OpenSecrets. It’s time for accountability.

#TrumpIsUnfitForOffice    #wtpBLUE    WE THE PEOPLE   wtp3270   “The US will take care of Cuba on our way back from Iran.“ President Trump and Marco Rubio have made recent comments trying to drive turnout in Florida among Cuban-Americans. “Then we’re going to send Mark Rubio in to finish up the deal.“ The CIA has made social media posts too, “This is the moment to seize the opportunity to create the change you desire through a discreet partnership with the CIA,” was the reply to one of Marco Rubio‘s tweets.    This administration has isolated the island by blockades and by indictments of the former president, Raúl Castro, and five others last May. Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez said recently, “We reject all threats regarding US ambitions towards Cuba.” Trump is only seeking to solidify his support among the powerful Cuban-American voting block in Florida days before the midterms, even as the cost of living is the number one concern for voters. At least 68% of Florida’s Cuban-Americans oppose Trump‘s mass deportation actions.
If the current administration cared about Cuba, shouldn’t they be supporting economic assistance there? Will Florida voters see through the last-minute pleas by this president?

#TrumpIsUnfitForOffice    #wtpBLUE    WE THE PEOPLE   It’s the biggest end run around the Clean Air Act by any president. In Trump‘s second term, he has given a total of 202 of the worst polluters in 39 states and Puerto Rico an exemption to continue to poison us. Chemical manufacturers, copper smelters, and coal burning power plants are some of his favorites. About 3.3 million people live within 3 miles of these facilities.
Before Trump‘s return to office, chemical companies were losing their fight against the EPA— but Trump cares more for corporations and making money than the health of Americans or the planet. Trump appointed those to the EPA who are acting as the fox in the henhouse, along with every agency meant to protect us. They lobby for the industries they are meant to regulate. Most recently it was reported  industry executives provided the agenda for a meeting with EPA staff and then presided over the meeting. Trump nominated Aaron Czabo, a lobbyist for the powerful trade group AdvaMed to lead the EPA‘s air regulation office.
The New York Times has reviewed over 10,000 pages of government documents and spoke to over 70 people, including former EPA industry executives. Trump enablers continue to cite threats to national security, a fallacy. One example of a cancer causing pollutant is ethylene oxide, a colorless gas used to make plastic soda bottles and to sterilize pacemakers—found by Biden administration officials to be 30 to 60 times as carcinogenic as previously thought. The Trump administration has not asked companies to present any case for the waivers they seek, all they had to do was send an email. It’s no coincidence that these industries backed Trump‘s reelection, and have donated to his pet causes. Until we elect those who believe in ethical science, our government will continue to fail us, weakening any protections based in fact. Please #VoteBlue.

#TrumpIsUnfitForOffice    #wtpBLUE    WE THE PEOPLE   wtp3269   Pete Hegseth signed a memo last month giving the Pentagon permission to test a military-grade heat ray and develop tactics to potentially use it in operations at the southern border. Known as the “Active Denial System,” it is a non-lethal weapon that shoots an invisible beam of electromagnetic waves that can reach a little more than a half a mile away. It causes a burning sensation when it comes into contact with human skin. It’s been compared to feeling a blast of heat when opening a hot oven. A “tingling effect“ lasts between 10 and 15 minutes, generating an urge to run from the effect. There has been discussion about it being used as crowd dispersal along the US-Mexico border.    The current administration has also discussed using it during moments of civil unrest, including during protests over George Floyd. The Pentagon is trying to absolve itself of any liability by stating, “It shall not be operated by Department of War personnel.” They will loan it to DHS (Department of Homeland Security), and they say the DHS will be solely responsible.
The US military deployed the system to Afghanistan, but decided not to use it during active combat operations. Customs and Border Protection officials have previously discussed using it in areas where there’s a high concentration of illegal crossings, but it has never been deployed. Among the concerns are the use of it across the border in Mexico on those who had not yet crossed into the United States and could be harmed. Typically, these type of inhumane treatments get rejected. But Trump sees immigrants as enemy combatants. Currently the need is low as the border is seeing far fewer border crossings. Will that stop Trump?

#TrumpIsUnfitForOffice    #wtpBLUE    WE THE PEOPLE   wtp3268   Before the midterm election has even taken place, President Trump‘s administration has filed a lawsuit to block the results of the Alaska Senate race.
The addition of a similarly named candidate—another Republican named Dan J. Sullivan, Jr. —They say it’s an attempt to mislead voters into voting for the wrong candidate. If the incumbent loses by a margin less than the number of votes his same named challenger receives, the administration asked the federal judge to bar the state from certifying the race’s results. Trump told reporters he has asked the Justice Department to pursue the legal challenge - “I’m the one that said do it.”
Attorney General Todd Blanche downplayed the reports, outside of a “doomsday scenario…but if, you know, to say there’s no circumstances that we would ever do that, of course I’m not going to say that.”
The Trump administration has kept up pressure on state-run elections, and to create doubt. The Associate Attorney General of Alaska Stanley E. Woodward has claimed in a filing, “The sole purpose of Dan J. Sullivan’s candidacy is to benefit the Peltola campaign by reducing the number of votes for Senator Sullivan.”
Dan J. Sullivan is a former independent, a retired teacher who registered as a Republican shortly before filing to enter the race this year. The state court ordered him back on the ballot after Alaskan officials tried in June to remove him. He claims he is not affiliated with Peltola’s campaign or the Democrats.
Alaska uses ranked-choice voting, and takes longer than others to count votes. If the results are close, this will increase the chances of litigation, unless it’s a blowout for the Democrats. Please #VoteBlue.

#TrumpIsUnfitForOffice    #wtpBLUE    WE THE PEOPLE   wtp3266   The American Foreign Service Association, the union for foreign service officers has heard anecdotes of senior foreign service members not getting jobs after going through interviews with questions that were political. If you are up for promotion as a foreign service official, you will be asked how you voted in the 2016, 2020 and 2024 presidential elections, a violation of federal law. Those at the top of Donald Trump’s State Department have made it clear—only Trump voters will be eligible for mid-to-upper-level foreign service roles. They were also told their political donation history would be examined, and any donations to Democrats would disqualify them.   “We are working with the house and other relevant committees to thoroughly investigate…all such claims,“ said Senator Jeanne Shaheen, the top democrat on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. The majority of the government workforce are permanent career staff intended to be protected by political influence.
The State Department has added a “Fidelity“ section to the foreign services evaluation process, saying “Fidelity means upholding the constitution and the law and executing policy with loyalty to the American people and their interests...It emphasizes the critical importance of service, integrity and policy alignment about executing the president’s vision for foreign policy.” A recent test taker said there were questions about Reagan‘s tax policies, and the accomplishments of Mike Pompeo, the former Secretary of State on the exam. The Trump administration is facing legal actions against their efforts to identify supporters among the civil service.
A court order already required them to stop asking applicants to write a short essay on their favorite Trump policies. That’s fascism.

#TrumpIsUnfitForOffice    #wtpBLUE    WE THE PEOPLE   A combination of deal-making and high-stakes diplomacy has defined Trump‘s attempts to end Europe’s bloodiest conflict since World War II, according to the New York Times’ reporting. One of Russia’s biggest energy companies, Novatek, would benefit from any deal discussed as it would use Novatek’s technology and the Russian company would own a stake in any Alaskan natural gas deal with Polar LNG.
This is in addition to the possible sale of LUKOIL, one of Russia’s energy giants. Geoffrey R. Pyatt, former assistant Secretary of State for energy resources in the Biden administration, has said the idea of bringing Novatek into the high north of Alaska would be terrible on environmental, economic, and geopolitical grounds.
“This feeds the belief that Putin can get an out-of-jail-free card.” Of course, the deal would involve someone with ties to the Trump family.    Gentry Beach, a college friend of Donald Trump Jr’s, said he held negotiations with Novatek about bringing its natural gas technology to Alaska. Polar LNG‘s proposal is to buy a giant 640,000 ton concrete-and-steel device from Novatek called a “gravity based structure,” that would be placed in the sea just above the northern coast of Alaska. Financing was not supposed to come from Russia. Novatek is already under US sanctions. Donald Trump waived the sanctions just last week as a pretense to keep peace talks going. Some top executives have resigned in protest over a company tied to sanctions being allowed to invest secretly into the possible deal.
It’s a further insult to Ukraine, and should not be part of talks to end the war, said Ilya Zaslavskiy, a gas industry consultant. But we have seen what side Trump is on.  We have to #VoteBlue

I agree. The allegations are so numerous and so specific, and the denials so broad, that they are startling to read. If even a fraction of the allegations have a significant factual basis, this will be a scandal for the ages.
The questions the Vanity Fair journalist Matthew Cole asked Kushner's lawyer reveal that this scandal is huge, much bigger than today's article covers. Matthew Cole has sure done his homework, and I can confirm some of it by following the Trump campaign and administration over the years. Now Kushner is trying to pretend he kept his head in the sand and knew nothing.
